Hi!
I have naturally red hair that leans more towards chestnut brown than blonde, but when the gray strands appear and the hair lightens, I want a shade that goes more towards brown - without completely removing the red/golden. I have used Igora Expert Mousse in shade 7.65, which unfortunately has been discontinued, so I thought this might be a replacement. More than a color bomb and milder than a toner.
I can't make sense of the colors here and what I should choose. I'm also confused about all the talk about silver tones. I want to tone down the gray and get a darker shade. Not the other way around. Could 6/7 or 6 be something for me? I don't want to enhance the red. Rather, I want more brown/warm elements. Thanks! Best regards, Amelie

Hey Amelie! 👋🏼
Since you want to tone down the gray strands and get a darker, brown shade without intensifying the red, you can definitely try shade 6/0. It gives a nice brown touch and retains the warmth in the hair 🥰

Just keep in mind that this is a toner and is not intended to completely cover white/gray strands, but mostly provides refreshment and nuance. If you want more coverage, you need an intensive toner or permanent color 🤗
Have a nice day ☀️
