    Bad for combination skin

I've been trying this for a while, but I don't get the hype. Tried with good skin prep, both brush and sponge. Looks nice initially when applied (definitely best with a sponge), but it settles into pores and emphasizes all dry areas. By the end of the day, everything is crumbled up.

Hey Anna Maria 💌 Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of this! It’s very common for some foundations to settle into pores or dry areas, especially if the skin isn’t quite optimal for the product. Here are some tips that can help you achieve a smoother and more long-lasting result: 💧Moisturize well before application: Make sure your skin is well-hydrated with a good moisturizer before applying foundation. This can reduce the product sticking to dry areas. 🫧Primer: Feel free to use a primer that suits your skin type, such as a pore-filling primer or one that adds extra moisture, depending on what your skin needs. 🖐🏼Application: As you’ve found, a sponge often works best for building up the product evenly and avoiding it feeling "heavy" on the skin. 💄Setting: Finish with a light, translucent powder on areas where foundation often collects or becomes shiny, and use a setting spray to seal the entire look. 🪨Exfoliation: Make sure to exfoliate your skin regularly to remove dry skin cells that foundation can cling to. I hope these tips help you enjoy your foundation more! If you’d like, we can also help you find a product that better suits your skin type. Have a great day ahead!💕

    Pretty okay, overhyped?

Pretty okay product, I experience that it’s smoother and has somewhat less frizz than when I don’t use it. I don’t notice any less hair loss or that it has become thicker or stronger. I also think it doesn’t smell as good as many say, a bit sweet and synthetic, but that’s personal preference :) pretty okay product, unsure if I’ll buy it again.

    Works poorly for combination skin

This is a very finely milled powder. It is quite economical in use, I’ll give it that. I have combination skin - oily with dry patches. You CANNOT use a lot, it works fine when you use a little. It does mattify the skin, yes, but it clings a lot to the dry patches, and throughout the day it cakes up. I have tested it over time with several foundations, same problem. There are many better setting powders than this in my opinion.
