    Sun-kissed wow glow!

First impression and texture: Wow! It looked so orange when I swiped it over my forehead. But once I blended the product out, it looked really nice! The stick has a pleasant texture that glides easily over the skin and a decent scent, leaning a bit towards bubblegum. Result and effect: I am 50 years old and have quite fair skin with a cool undertone. For reference, I use L’Oréal’s foundation 2C almost year-round. The stick is meant as a bronzer, not to be confused with contouring. When I wear bronzer, I very rarely use blush, as it’s too much for my fair skin. Application is easy and gives an even and nice result. I rarely use day cream under makeup, partly because I don’t have time to wait half an hour for it to absorb, and also because I find it hard to get a flawless result with cream underneath. So this test was done without day cream. Summary: This is definitely a go-to product if you want a quick sun-kissed glow on your face. It has a warm color and a nice, subtle shimmer on the skin. It gives the feeling and look of the last rays of sunset on the skin. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.

    Mascara with a good brush

First impression and consistency: The brush is narrower at the tip. This makes it easier to reach very small lashes and the corners of the eyes. The brush also has short bristles. This means the right amount sticks to the brush and nothing needs to be wiped off before application. The consistency is easy to work with and only one comb-through with a separate brush was needed afterward. Result and effect: It looks so brown on the brush, but applied to the lashes, it’s barely possible to see a difference compared to a black mascara. In a Teams meeting, however, I see that my eyes don’t look as defined. Does the camera pick up the color difference that I can’t see with the naked eye? The mascara stays where it should all day. No crumbling or smudging on the eyelids. Summary: This is a reliable and easy-to-work-with mascara. The brown color can be perceived as giving a softer impression. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot got to try the product for free.

    A really good CC cream

First impression and consistency: I find it a bit hard to tell if it matches my skin or not. In some places it does, in others it doesn’t. The consistency is a bit looser than a foundation but still easy to apply. The product has a quite okay scent. Result and effect: I am 50 years old and have fairly light skin with a cool undertone. As a reference, I use L’Oréal’s foundation 2C almost year-round. In the first test, I had a day cream on. It didn’t work out so well. Test number two with just cleansed skin was significantly better. The cream blurs superficial blood vessels and blemishes, but it doesn’t cover my cherry spots. A bit strange, they are not raised. A bonus, the cream also blurs enlarged pores between my eyebrows and around my nose. I checked the tube and the internet but couldn’t find that it also has a "blur effect." That was a happy surprise. Summary: This product does what it promises + a little more. It doesn’t give the same result as a foundation but rather a lighter feel on the skin. I think it’s used on days when you want to be quickly done but not full glam bulletproof. Its skincare properties are a definite plus. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot got to try the product for free.

    A true quick fix!

First impression and consistency: It is a gel-like cream that is easy to dose. It has a lovely consistency and dries quickly on the skin. It leaves no visible dryness on the skin. The product is economical, only a little needs to be used at each occasion. Results and effect: I am 49 years old and have dry skin with small expression lines. I have small puffiness under my eyes towards the outer corners. I have used the product together with makeup, color correction, which has worked well. The product does what it promises. Summary: I have previously used another brand of cream for this very purpose, so some comparison is unavoidable. L'Oréal's cream applies more easily and softer on the skin and leaves no dry surface with visible white traces. It does the job well all day. If you want a product that provides a temporary improvement to the skin under the eyes, this can be recommended. A real wake-up kick!

First impression and consistency: The serum is applied with small balls on the skin. It gives a wonderfully cooling effect that helps to reduce puffiness while making fine lines less visible. It has a lovely consistency and dries quickly on the skin. Results and effect: I am 49 years old and have dry skin with fine expression lines. I have used the product together with day and night cream from the same line. The combination moisturizes properly. Summary: This is the first time I am testing a hyaluronic acid serum for the eye area. It feels lighter than a regular eye cream. This product gave me such a wow feeling! I will definitely buy it again. Highly recommended! The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.

    Serum that simplifies the routine

First impression and consistency: The serum has a lovely consistency and dries quickly on the skin. Results and effect: I am 49 years old and have dry skin with small expression lines. I have used the product together with day and night cream from the same line. The combination moisturizes properly. Serum with hyaluronic acid is not a stand-alone product. The serum gets the best effect with a moisturizer on top. Summary: This is the first time I am testing a hyaluronic acid serum with peptides in it. I like that combination as it simplifies my beauty routine. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot has been allowed to try the product for free.

    Moisture Boost in a Jar

First impression and consistency: The cream has a lovely consistency and a pretty okay scent. Results and effect: I am 49 years old and have dry skin with small expression lines. I have used the product together with the serums in the same line. It hydrates properly. But... the cream is very difficult to combine with the serums to get a good base for makeup. Everything rolls off the skin, and it was no good idea to take the next step with the contour stick before everything rolled off. I also tested the cream without serum and tried to pat it into the skin and wait 30 minutes before contouring, but it still rolled. Likely, it is the amount of dimethicone in the cream that causes this. Summary: The cream will have to be a "home cream". Despite the rolling, it is great for hydration! Softness in a Jar

First impression and consistency: I like that the cream has a light purple color that is associated with night. It has a lovely consistency and a pretty decent scent. It feels nice on the skin. Results and effect: I am 49 years old and have dry skin with small expression lines. After using the product, along with the serums in the same line, it is clearly noticeable the next morning. My skin is incredibly soft when I wake up. All signs of tiredness are gone. The lines are less prominent. Summary: This is a real "moisture bomb" if you want to prevent signs of aging or just need extra moisture overnight. It gives the skin a nice glow and proper recovery while you sleep. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.
