Silvershine
What is the difference between this one that is light and the other one that is just called silvershine?1 product in post Silvershine105 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 weekHeihei 👋 Silver Shine Light Shampoo has 50% fewer violet pigments than the original. It provides a milder neutralization of yellow or warm tones – perfect for those who want a balanced, cool blonde color and want to use the product more often 💓 Silver Shine Shampoo has a higher concentration of violet pigments, which gives a more intense "toning" effect and cooler results. Both contain milk proteins, organic fruit extracts (like blueberry extract) and the Integrity 41® complex – ingredients that provide extra shine, care, and color protection. The Light version is milder and suitable for frequent use, while the original should be used more sparingly if you want to avoid a purple tint 🙌 Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋

Sodium laurate sulfate?
Does this contain the sulfates that aren't so good for the scalp?1 product in post Sodium laurate sulfate?1133 views- Customer service at Lyko4 weeksHey Carmen🌟 Yes, this shampoo contains Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a sulfate. It can be a bit drying for the scalp for some, especially if you have had a sensitive or dry scalp before. I’m attaching another option that is sulfate-free and gentler, in case you want something milder 🌿✨ lyko.com/no/maria-nila/maria-nila-head-hair-heal-shampoo-350ml Wishing you a nice day ahead💌

Which is best
Which is better, this one or Millshake's silvershine shampoo? I have naturally dark blonde hair with some light highlights, so I want something cooler in the lightened areas. But I want one that works in the shower and doesn't need to sit for many, many minutes while also being gentle on the hair. I've used a lot of those silver treatments, but they don't give much effect without sitting for a long time.1 product in post Which is best61 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Carmen👋 Here’s an overview comparing Evo Fabuloso Platinum Blonde Toning Shampoo and Milk_shake Silver Shine, with good advice based on your wishes: 🔹 Evo Fabuloso Platinum Blonde Toning Shampoo Effect: Quickly revitalizing – removes yellow/brassy tones after just a few minutes in the shower Gentle: Sulfate-free, with glycerin and panthenol that provide moisture without stripping the hair Use: Understands intense effect without needing to sit for long – perfect for you if you want quick color correction. 🔹 Milk_shake Silver Shine Shampoo Effect: Milder toning, gives a cooler blonde color without overstimulating – especially good for chemically treated hair Milkshake Pro Formula: Contains milk proteins, berry extracts, and Integrity 41® – nourishing ingredients that also protect color and add shine 💡 Want quick effect without long processing time? Question
Is this sulfate-free? I have a sensitive scalp that can easily get dry, but my hair needs to be washed often because it gets greasy so quickly. It's hard to find a shampoo that is gentle on the scalp but where the hair and scalp are dry, yet the hair itself gets greasy quickly. Do you think this could work? Or will it dry out the hair a lot too?1 product in post Question - 6 months
Oil
Does this oil contain? Can it be used by those with perioral dermatitis during symptom-free periods, or will it trigger? I have been recommended the Cerave PM night cream in the tube because it apparently doesn't contain oils but is suitable for dehydrated skin. Is cerave better than this one from LRP?😊1 product in post Oil1347 views- Skin therapist at Lyko6 monthsHi Carmen! This one is oil-free and can be used well for you with perioral dermatitis thanks to its light and mild formula. It's hard to say which one is best for you, as it can vary so much from skin to skin, but I would probably recommend this one as it has several soothing benefits that are nice for perioral dermatitis🩷 Have a lovely day😍

Sulfates
Does this cleanser contain sulfates? Like the sulfates that a perioral dermatitis skin shouldn't have (like preventive for outbreaks)1 product in post Sulfates1528 views- Skin therapist at Lyko6 monthsHey again! 😊 This cleanser contains a small amount of salicylic acid, but in such a low concentration that it doesn't work like a traditional exfoliant. The main purpose is not to peel the skin, as a concentrated salicylic acid product would do. Therefore, it is usually gentle enough for most people with sensitive skin, including those with rosacea and perioral dermatitis. As always, it's wise to test carefully first if your skin is very reactive, and consult with a dermatologist if you're unsure😊 This can also be nicely combined with azelaic acid and most other ingredients🫱🏼🫲🏼 Have a nice day💚1 likes

Question
Can this be used by those who have previously had perioral dermatitis, or will it trigger a new outbreak? I have combination skin and often find cleansing milk too rich.1 product in post Question1720 views- Skin therapist at Lyko6 monthsHi Carmen! That's right, it's as the name suggests a cream to foam cleanser. So it will work like a milk first when you massage it in, but foams up when you add water. Have a nice day🩵

Question
I have been using this for several years. But I experience that my hair is breaking in many places towards my face. Could it be that the hair is «overprocessed»? It contains keratin, right? I can't understand what makes it never grow out and keeps breaking over and over again. I use salon products and never bleach. Or color. I also never use heat on my hair.1 product in post Question2117 views- Hairdresser at Lyko7 monthsHi Carmen! The hair on your face is often a bit more fragile than the hair on the rest of your head, and unfortunately has a much easier tendency to break... the most important thing you can do here is to make sure you trim your hair regularly so that you cut off any split ends that can break off 🤍 I also recommend taking a look at Kerastase's Genesis line, which is fantastic for hair that can easily break 👇🏼 lyko.com/no/kerastase/harvard/genesis?fromsearch=genesis Hope this helps you! Have a really great weekend ☃️1 likes

Lillashampo
Is this good for effectively neutralizing yellow without drying out the hair too much? Any other alternative shampoo or treatment?1 product in post Lillashampo1771 views- Hairdresser at Lyko8 monthsHi Carmen! I would say this one is a bit more blue-purple and strong in tone, compared to Maria Nila's silvershot 🤧 Have a nice day!2 likes
