I was recommended this product as a moisturizer for my skin. (I have sensitive, dry skin and struggle with eczema around my eyes). Unfortunately, after the first use, my eyes became red, really dry, and felt almost raw. Fortunately, it went away after a few days. I waited a few days to see if I could maybe try again because I really wanted to believe that it was just my eczema reacting to the cold outside. Now I have used it every night for a few days and I have noticed that the area just outside my eyes is fortunately not so very red but very dry. I have tried to apply the minimum of the product I must, but unfortunately, I don't think I can use it. Why 2 stars: Even though it is a gel, the consistency is very thick. The comment was made 6 daysHi, and thank you so much for sharing your experience 💛 It sounds very uncomfortable with the reaction around the eyes, and I completely understand why you choose to stop using it. When you have eczema and sensitive skin, the skin is extra vulnerable, and therefore it is always recommended to do a patch test before starting with a new product 🙌 This product contains fragrance, which can trigger irritation in those with eczema or sensitive skin. That probably explains why you reacted this way, especially in the thin skin area around the eyes. I would recommend you choose products without fragrance and alcohol, as these ingredients can worsen dryness and eczema. If you want, I can gladly suggest more gentle alternatives that are better suited for sensitive skin.
