Not my favorite. But it was fun to test
Pore Shrinker Bakuchiol Cream β #mamonde #lykotestpilot As part of #lykotestpilot-programmet, I got to test several products from Mamonde β and among them was the Pore Shrinker Bakuchiol Cream. The testing period was from November 1 to 14, 2025. First impression: This came in travel-size, but the design resembles the original: purple with a hint of mint green β the same style as the Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask. You can clearly see that they come from the same brand. The design gives me funky vibes, almost like a modern lava lamp with a touch of the 70s. The cream is thick and marketed as suitable for sensitive skin. It should be applied morning and night, and stroked in the natural direction of the skin β which made me think: What is actually my skin's natural structure? π I became curious about how my pores actually look, so I ended up watching some YouTube videos and had a little Q&A session with my girlfriends β we were all a bit unsure, haha. I also checked the ingredients to see if they suited my skin type. Skin status during the testing period: Redness in cheeks and T-zone Dry skin Pimples and blemishes, especially on the chin Sensitive skin Before this, I had no fixed skincare routine β just a day cream (Lumene Nordic Bloom Anti-Wrinkle & Firm Day Moisturizer). I also used two other Mamonde products at the same time: Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask Amazing Deep Mint Cleansing Balm Conclusion: Unfortunately, this cream was not quite for me. My skin felt a bit "congested", and I didn't notice any miraculous improvement in my pores. At a price of 459 kr, I expected more. I applied it both morning and night, but I think maybe once a day would have been enough. I also had some breakouts during the testing period, but I can't say for sure that it was this cream that caused it. All in all: Not my favorite. Amazing Deep Mint Cleansing Balm β #mamonde #lykotestpilot As part of #lykotestpilot-programmet, I got to test several products from Mamonde β and among them was the Amazing Deep Mint Cleansing Balm. I tested the product from November 1 to 14, 2025. First impression: This came in travel size, so I haven't seen the original packaging. But the color β a fresh blue-green β gives immediate associations to mint, which is also an ingredient in the product. The scent? Super yummy! The consistency is reminiscent of a firmer version of clover vaseline β easy to work with and melts nicely into the skin. My skin didnβt feel tight or irritated after use, but I noticed that I needed extra moisture afterward β especially as a 30+ with dry skin. Skin status during the testing period: Redness in cheeks and T-zone Dry skin Pimples and impurities, especially on the chin Sensitive skin Before this, I had no fixed skincare routine β just a day cream (Lumene Nordic Bloom Anti-Wrinkle & Firm Day Moisturizer). The product came in full size (see picture!), and I tested it from November 1 to November 14, 2025. First impression: A face mask that is to be used both morning and night? A bit unusual, but fortunately, it came with an informative brochure that explained the usage. The packaging gives me serious bubbliz vibes β colorful, fresh, and with a cap that matches the bottle. It definitely stands out in the bathroom cabinet! I have never been a fan of rose scent in skincare, as it often overpowers everything else. But here I was pleasantly surprised β the scent is mild and pleasant, not too intense. I also love that it came in full size! It was fun to try something new from a brand I haven't tried before. I took the time to google the ingredients to check if they suited my skin type β and it looked promising. My hair: Nordic, damaged, colored hair, with a bit of curls in the back. I received this in a mystery box from Lyko. Design: Simple, nice, and calm. Scent: Love the scent of this. My husband at home and Consistency: Nice thickness. How it works on my hair: I feel that many of the masks I have used on my hair leave me with a feeling that my hair is greasy and heavy. This one did not. I feel my hair shines a little extra, is soft, and I have received compliments about whether I have done something extra with my hair lately, which I appreciate. What I have used for this: Shampoo and conditioner from Kiehl's (Amino Acid Hair Care). How long I have tried this: About 1 month.
