    I have oily combination acne-prone skin and this has worked really well for me when I have breakouts or a weakened skin barrier. It builds back up quickly with this cleanser. If you're struggling with pimples and very oily skin, I would probably go for the original foaming cleanser as it keeps the pimples and bumps away while also controlling oil. I switch to this as soon as my skin is a bit weakened.

    Hi!

    I switch between hydrating cleanser and foaming cleanser normally, as my skin gets too dry with just foaming cleanser and too oily with hydrating cleanser. I have sensitive combination skin that easily gets pimples. Is this one that might suit me better so I don’t have to switch so often? I get really oily in my skin throughout the day.

      Hi Daniel 👋 If you are experiencing a combination of sensitive skin that is acne-prone, I would absolutely recommend continuing to use the Foaming Cleanser from CeraVe. It is important to use toner, serum, and moisturizer in the remaining skincare routines so that the skin receives enough moisture after cleansing! 💪💧 The Hydrating cream for foam cleanser contains ingredients that are not necessarily recommended for acne-prone skin, so I would recommend using this cleanser if you experience a normal/dry skin type 🙌 Oily skin needs moisture. What happens if oily skin does not get enough moisture is that the skin will start to overproduce sebum to 'lubricate' itself. Even if you have a combination or oily skin type, you can still have a dry skin condition. Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋
