Mild Retinol Cream
I have tested the Pore Shrinker travel-size from #mamonde as part of #lykotestpilot. The packaging is cute and the cream feels smooth, a bit thick and almost balmy. I haven't used retinol in a long time, and this cream feels like a mild way to ease my skin into it. I use it in the evening when I’m not using other exfoliating products, like Flora Glow, which I have also tested and liked. My skin feels hydrated and nice in the morning. I got a pimple when I used it for a few days in a row, but I’m unsure if it was really due to the cream. I haven't seen any significant difference in my pores yet, but the cream feels mild and gentle, and I plan to continue using it now that I’m taking a break from the Flora Glow mask, to see if my skin likes it or not and if it will minimize my pores more. Totally okay but not wow
I got to try the Amazing Deep Mint Cleansing Balm from #mamonde in travel-size via #lykotestpilot. My first impression was that the balm felt soft and lovely on the skin, and the mild mint scent was very fresh but subtle. I always use balm as the first step when removing makeup on dry skin, but I didn’t feel that this melted away my makeup in the way I prefer. However, it felt nice and gentle during use, and I noticed no irritation despite having sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I’m always careful with products that come into contact with my skin. This balm is kind to the skin and feels pleasant, but it doesn’t quite live up to my expectations when it comes to breaking down makeup. After use, my skin felt clean, especially when I followed up with my usual face wash. It’s not bad, but I wasn’t super impressed. Glass skin in a bottle
I got to test Flora Glow from #mamonde as part of #lykotestpilot, and my first impression was how nice and good quality the packaging is. I also like that it is well thought out with the little “nib” in the opening that allows you to dose the product without it leaking. The product feels lovely on the skin and gives a really nice glow, truly glass skin. Sometimes I use it under makeup for extra radiance (tip!), but mostly in my evening routine about 3 times a week, as I have slightly sensitive skin. Even though it exfoliates, it still feels gentle and moisturizing. The consistency of the product makes it feel nice on the skin as it feels like a thicker toner. I am a big fan of skincare, especially K-beauty, and have tried many different products. A few years ago, I had acne, but today I have really sorted out my skin, and you would never believe I had problems with my skin before. That’s why I am very picky about what I use on my skin. I don’t feel that it has irritated my skin and I am really very satisfied with this product and will definitely continue to use it in the future! I do recommend that you gradually introduce it to your skin and don’t think it’s necessary (for me) to use it every day! My go-to sunscreen
My go-to sunscreen! It feels more like a light day cream. Moisturizes the skin, gives a nice glow, and leaves no white residue. Absorbs quickly and works even without a moisturizer underneath. I find the scent can smell a bit bad, kind of sour? but it disappears quickly. The best part is that it has high protection and doesn't give me pimples or irritation, even in warm and sunny climates. Gives a nice glow and feels moisturizing
Gives a nice glow and my skin feels more moisturized when I use the pads. However, I haven't noticed any significant difference in my skin after two months of use.
