Perfect under makeup
I am a huge fan of primers, especially because they all have different purposes. This one guarantees «plump», glow, and that the makeup lasts all day, and I must say I completely agree on all counts!! The product comes in a handy pump packaging so you can easily adjust the amount of product that comes out. When you apply the product to your face, it leaves a light glow and feels almost a bit sticky. And this is the key that makes the makeup almost stick to your face all day. Not only that, but this primer also helps the eyeshadow become more pigmented and easier to work with. When it comes to covering unevenness, pores, etc., it hardly makes a difference, so if that’s your goal in using a primer, I recommend going for another solution. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. This product has an exciting twist with many different functions, and I was excited to test them in practice! The product comes in a tube with a screw cap and a narrow tip so that a small amount of product comes out at a time. It has a consistency that resembles a lotion more than a highlighter and is easy to apply. It feels very light on the face and has a medium to low coverage. What the product does provide, however, is a fresh light glow that looks very natural and will definitely be my favorite in the summer months when you just want to freshen up the skin a bit without wearing too much makeup. I have tried to mix it with foundation and use the product under makeup, but I think that the product loses a lot of its lightness. It feels much heavier on the face under the makeup, unfortunately. In the same way, I think the product gave very little glow on top of the makeup. Great products and a really nice gift!!
Lumene surprises once again with this incredibly beautiful gift set!! A perfect gift now that Christmas is approaching. The packaging itself is a gift. It comes with a nice Christmas motif that sparkles, and with some descriptive words about the products inside that make trying these even more tempting. The vitamin C serum is absolutely lovely. It gives a nice glow, has a light consistency that absorbs easily into the skin, and provides a more even complexion after prolonged use. It has helped me with areas where I typically get red, like around the nose. When it comes to the cream, this is a perfect match. It provides good moisture, especially now that winter is here and many of us struggle with a bit drier skin. It’s also very good to use under makeup!! And it doesn’t get drier or weird when you put foundation over it, which is a big plus. All in all, a really nice gift box, not too little, not too many products. The price is also friendly considering what you get. A favorite
This heat protector comes in a nice spray bottle that gives a thicker mist and is therefore easy to use. It covers the hair easily and quite evenly. The scent of this is absolutely amazing, it’s not too sweet or too strong. It makes the hair feel clean and gives it that little extra. The product isn’t felt in the hair at all after styling once the job of protecting it is done. Which is a big plus!! The only thing that brings it down a bit is that due to the spray giving so much product, it’s easy to use too much and soak the hair really wet which means you have to wait a bit before you can style it. I was so lucky to test this straightener from GHD. I have previously had other products from the brand that I have been incredibly satisfied with, so this was just absolutely fantastic. The straightener is sturdy, nice, has a long cord that doesn't limit you while you style your hair, and is matte and easy to hold. It has only one heat setting, and gets hot in just a few seconds. It also lets you know when it's ready for use. It comes with a "rubber" part that you can put over the top of the straightener when you're done using it, both to keep it closed, but also to block the heat if it's not completely cool when it's put away. I just have to say that this does absolutely everything you need from a straightener. It glides easily through the hair. The set temperature works well for both straightening and styling the hair. Something that is a big plus for me with thicker and long hair is that I can use slightly "thicker" sections of hair than I usually can, and it still manages to style it since the heating element on the straightener is a bit thicker and longer. I also notice that the curls hold better and longer, and that my hair feels less damaged and "burnt" after using this straightener. In other words, I highly recommend this and it has already replaced the straightener I usually use. Like effect
This comes in a nice pink tube, has a light consistency that is neither too thick nor too runny. The product is easy to apply and has a light scent, fresh but somewhat sweet, that is pleasing. The volume cream is also a bit shiny, and this is probably what I liked best about it! My hair had a light shine after use, smelled good, was softer, and overall easy to manage without being able to "feel" the product in my hair. My hair was neither sticky nor felt unusual after use. When it comes to volume, I unfortunately experienced little effect. I have thick and long hair that is as straight as it can possibly be, and other than shine and the points above, I unfortunately experienced little extra volume! I do consider it very possible that I just don’t have the right hair type for the product unfortunately. Exciting twist!
This product comes in a hairspray-like solution which is incredibly exciting! The spray is light, has a fresh and somewhat sweet scent in line with many of the other products in the series! The scent doesn't linger too much in the hair, so if it doesn't suit your taste, that's not a problem. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the product coming in this form of spray solution. But I must admit that I was very positively surprised! For me, having long and thick hair, it was much easier to "cover" the whole hair with protection than it usually is. The product doesn't feel in the hair when you're done styling it. Almost as if it just disappears when the job is done.
