There are no known ingredients in this product that would cause hair to break. There are many reasons why hair can break, especially previous chemical treatments or heat styling may have weakened the hair, making it more prone to breakage. I would recommend that you file a complaint so that we have the opportunity to look into this in consultation with the supplier. Have a great day ✨
