Fading marks and mistakes
The other day I did what I think we all have experienced, or at least most of us - I squeezed pimples. And no, not our Scandinavian neighbors - they are okay - but acne. I don’t have much acne so it usually doesn’t show, but it still itches in my fingers. Vips, my whole face was red dotted and I felt worse than the worst. That’s why I want to share my routine when such things happen, so you don’t have to feel so bad for a long time. We are just humans. And this is not a post that says acne is ugly, but the red marks left after squeezing. I started by washing my face with a mild oat exfoliating cream/powder. Then I applied my toner and serum. But what I thought worked the most, besides the exfoliator, is Cicaplast Baume from La Roche-Posay. It works miracles to fade the marks all over the body. The first picture is right after I squeezed, the picture after is after 1.5 days. So even though we shouldn’t squeeze, it happens, we are human. When we do squeeze, this is a tip from me.4 products in post Fading marks and mistakes642 viewsto leave a comment - 6 days
Gel IQ as it should be
I got sooooo tired of the Chrome glitter fading, so now it had to go and instead I tried "Love Yourself", or "Strictly Business" as Lyko seems to have named it?? (A bit confused) I love the glitter, sooooo pretty. However, I think it was generous of them to call it full coverage for this year with 3!!! layers. The recommendation is 2. If you look closely, the right hand, i.e. the thumb to the left in the picture, is more covered - there I have a full pink polish under "Deco Rose". But I am satisfied with this, let me know how long it lasts! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1 product in post Gel IQ as it should be294 viewsto leave a comment - 1 week
Gel IQ Chrome
Today I tested Gel IQ's (Depend) new Chrome nail polishes. They are almost twice as expensive as the regular polishes, so I chose to buy Jewel Beetle and Pink Oyster to test. The first thing I noticed when I opened the polish was that it has a significantly looser and thinner consistency than the others, which made the rough parts feel and show through even with 3 layers and, base coat and top coat. I thought that it might go better with a regular polish underneath and tested this on my thumbs - I don't know if it shows in the picture, but the nails turned out a bit spotty glittery instead. Another downside is that the glitter got stuck in my top coat, so now I have glitter forever from the brush. BUT it has a very nice shimmer, and if you are aware of the difference in consistency and do a better job than I did, I think this could be a really nice polish! I probably prefer Jewel Beetle. Not quite the result shown on the bottle, so a bit disappointed. But still a 3/5 rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️2 products in post Gel IQ Chrome1103 viewsto leave a comment - 5 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Satisfied
This is definitely a product that I will buy again - even though I don't notice any major difference in volume. The reason is that it: 1. Doesn't weigh the hair down at all. 2. Smells fresh and nice and "natural". 3. Works as heat protection without that quickly dirty consistency that some other heat protectants give. 4. Makes the hair easier to brush through. I have combined this product, which by the way should be shaken before use, which one can forget!!, with Neem Plant Silk Serum, so I can't determine how much of the brushability comes from the serum and this spray, but I know that it helps make the hair easier to get through - because with just the serum, it's not as easy.1 product in post Satisfied1315 viewsto leave a comment - 5 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Light Product
Honestly, I find it really hard to determine when hair products "help" for me. What I do know is that I have hair that easily gets greasy, and this product hasn't affected that at all. SO, to clarify, the product is easy to apply and light in the hair. It doesn't weigh it down or make it look dirty. For someone with naturally flat hair, like me, the hair can become very limp/flat. I kind of struggle to get volume in my hair. But it doesn't affect how quickly clean or dirty the hair gets/looks at all.1 product in post Light Product1237 viewsto leave a comment - 5 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Vanilla Bean
So, it’s been a while since I smelled a dried raw vanilla bean, but it basically smells like that. Think vanilla powder instead of vanilla sugar. Not a new favorite for me, but I can absolutely imagine it smelling good on others, and after a while, the scent becomes just right. So if you like vanilla powder, this is definitely the scent for you!1 product in post Vanilla Bean1434 viewsto leave a comment - 5 monthsRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Thoughts on Lush
My first thought was: Bath bomb. It smells like walking into Lush, just less strong. Just the right strength though, but absolutely not sweet - which is strange considering it’s called "Azúcar". Probably going to be a birthday present for my grandma.1 product in post Thoughts on Lush1808 viewsto leave a comment Filippa Maria

Many with similar names
Hi, I want to dye my brown hair dark dark brown. I have previously used Four Reasons and was satisfied, just that it doesn't stick to the roots. However, Montebello has so many similar names and thus I get confused, which are the two "darkest browns"? In their toning collection?1 product in post Many with similar names94 views- Hairdresser at Lyko5 monthsHey Filippa! 😍 Colors are measured on a scale of 1-10, where 1= black and 10=blonde. Number 3 is the darkest brown, the numbers behind 3 stand for the shade 🤎 This one called 3.60 gives a chestnut brown shade and the one called 3 gives a natural brown shade. Have a nice afternoon ☀️1 likes
