It has a fairly light and flexible formula that many like because it blends nicely into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy. For oily skin, it can therefore feel comfortable and natural, especially if you want a more skin-like finish. At the same time, it doesn’t contain as many oil-absorbing or mattifying properties as foundations made specifically for oily skin. That means if you tend to get shiny during the day, you might need to complement it with primer, powder, or blotting to keep it in place longer.
