Ingrown hairs can unfortunately be triggered by several things – including how sharp the blades are, how closely they sit, and how your skin reacts to friction. If you found that the blades became dull quickly, it can definitely contribute to both poorer results and a greater risk of ingrown hairs.
It’s completely individual what works best when it comes to shaving, so it makes sense that you’ve had better experiences with other brands. Skin and hair type play a big role, and some need fewer blades, while others need sharper or more flexible heads.
