🧴 Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Bandage Balm — ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bandage Balm is the product in the series I had the highest expectations for – and the one that gave me the most mixed feelings. The texture is a bit sticky, and the recommendation to use a pea-sized amount distributed in the hands felt insufficient for my hair. I definitely needed more to get good coverage from the mid-lengths to the ends. The result is still positive – the hair feels stronger and somewhat softer after use, and it works well as a leave-in. But the application instructions are not fully adapted to all hair types, and the stickiness can be a bit of a surprise the first time. 🧴 Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner — ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I used the conditioner after shampoo as recommended, and it made a noticeable difference in the hair’s texture – especially in the lengths that are bleach-damaged. The hair felt softer and more manageable after rinsing, and it was easier to detangle than usual. The consistency is creamy and spreads well in damp hair. No dramatic transformation, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to: reduces brittleness and gives a smoother surface. For me, who has medium-length, bleach-damaged hair, this is a safe and decent choice – although I miss the “oh, this is something special” feeling. 🧴 Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo — ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am already a big fan of Redken, so expectations were high. The shampoo does its job – hair feels softer and less brittle after use, which is noticeable when you have highlights and bleached hair that hasn’t been to the salon in a while. The consistency is nice and it lathers well. The only downside is that it doesn’t give the same “wow” feeling as Redken’s purple shampoo, which for me is a completely different experience. This is a solid, functional shampoo that works well for damaged hair – but it lacks that little extra factor that really makes you hooked. Let me upgrade you ;)
This is the finishing product that says “let me upgrade you”. Just a few drops, and the hair goes from totally okay to Ohhhhhh myyyyy Good God! The oil is light, not sticky, and gives a shine that looks expensive without the hair feeling heavy or greasy. I used it on both towel-dried and dry hair, and both work! The ends look fresher, frizz settles down, and the whole look becomes more polished and glossy. Perfect when you want to look like you care, even on days when you really don’t 😅✨ The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.1 product in post Let me upgrade you ;)82 views - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
A GAME CHANGER!
This conditioner? A game changer for dry, stressed, or bleached hair. It melts into the lengths, smells amazing, and makes the hair silky soft without losing volume. After 3-5 minutes in my hair, it was like I had a treatment at the salon: smooth, shiny, and easier to comb than my kids in the morning (and that says a lot). I love that my hair feels light and not greasy, and that the frizz stays away. This is as close to a “blowout at home” as you can get, without needing a stylist or a million-watt hairdryer. YASSS !!
This is the shampoo that made my hair say “finally, queen!” already after the first wash!! The gel-like formula lathers up like a little luxury spa experience, and my hair feels both clean, smooth, and frizz-free, and that WITHOUT becoming heavy or striped. The scent is fresh and elegant, just how you want to smell when you pretend to have control over life. My hair became smooth, shiny, and feels cleaner longer than usual. This is definitely a shampoo I will be using going forward :) The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.1 product in post YASSS !!66 views
