Retinol and azelaic acid
Hi, I have problem skin with acne and I am in my 30s. Last fall, I started using retinol and have seen a clear improvement in my skin, less acne and unevenness. Now I am following this routine with CeraVe's line: Evening 1. Cleansing CeraVe Foaming Cleanser 2. CeraVe Retinol Serum 3. CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion Morning 1. CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 I would like to add azelaic acid to my routine. Would it work to add, for example, this product from Revox to my current routine? Azelaic acid helps with acne, redness, and uneven skin tone and often works well with retinol. To avoid irritation, you might consider the following: -Use retinol in the evening as usual. -Azelaic acid in the morning before SPF, or alternate evenings with retinol and azelaic acid. -Always finish with a moisturizing cream and sun protection.
