A little disappointed
I have to say that after having this for about 2 years, I am quite disappointed.. It has really worn on my hair (I always use good heat protection), but the hair kind of gets stuck in the plates when you straighten it, and a part of the hair always gets pulled out when you straighten it, something you expect from budget straighteners, but I actually didn't think that about this one, so I won't be buying a ghd next time I buy a straightener, and I had probably expected to be able to use this longer considering the price, but unfortunately it will be a switch earlier than planned.Translated from swedish

Now I understand that you take good care of it, but there are otherwise a few different reasons why hair gets damaged after using a flat iron: If there are residues from heat protectant, oils, or styling products on the plates, they can become a bit sticky, which makes the hair catch more easily. 🧼 Dirt or buildup on the plates: Over time, the plates can develop a thin layer of dust or dirt, which affects how smoothly they glide. A gentle cleaning with a lightly damp, soft cloth (when the flat iron is completely turned off and cool) can help. 📏 Too tight grip or too much hair at once: If you press the plates together too hard or take too large sections, the hair can more easily get caught and "pinched" at the edges. If you suspect a manufacturing defect like a seam or unevenness in the transition between the plates and the actual casing, where hair strands can get caught, you can register a complaint on My Pages - Order History - Claim, so we can help you look further from there and get back to you via email 📧 Otherwise, I hope you find another one that you like better ✨ Have a nice day!
