Moisture Dream in a Bottle
I was tasked as #lykoinflutester to test this snail serum from #cosrx. I actually haven't tried snail serum before and must admit I was quite skeptical at first. I read beforehand how the collection works, and it is apparently completely cruelty-free. Snails are really not my favorite animal, but I still felt it was important to check before I used the products. The product comes in a smart pump bottle that gives a perfect amount of serum. One pump is excellent for the whole face. With 96% snail slime, I expected a pretty slimy consistency, but it feels like a completely normal serum. If you follow the instructions and pat the product in, it absorbs very quickly into the skin. The serum is as good as fragrance-free and feels very gentle on the skin. I can react a bit the first time I use a completely new product, but this felt incredibly kind to the skin. My skin, at 50 years old, is often dry and in great need of moisture. I have used the serum in the evenings under my regular night cream, and my skin really feels hydrated afterward. The bottle is large and lasts a long time. After almost a month of use, only a few centimeters have been taken from the bottle, so it is very cost-effective. Especially now during Black Week when it is almost free! 💵 I have only tested the product for four weeks, so I don't know if it prevents signs of aging, but it really feels like it keeps its promise to increase the skin's elasticity. Light but incredibly moisturizing
I was tasked as #lykoinflutester to test this All in one cream from #Cosrx. I actually haven't tried snail serum before and must admit that I was quite skeptical at first. I read beforehand how the collection works, and it is apparently completely cruelty-free. Snails are really not my favorite animal, but I still felt it was important to check before I used the products. The product comes in a jar and the product is quite slimy. There are like slimy threads when you take the product out of the jar. I saw that the product also comes in a tube, and I would probably choose this if I were to buy it myself. Tube feels overall more hygienic. The cream has a faint, fresh scent and feels very gentle on the skin. I can sometimes react a little the first time I use a completely new product, but this one felt incredibly kind to the skin. I have used the cream as a day cream without any serum underneath. The consistency is incredibly thin and light, and it absorbs very quickly into the skin. I didn't think it would moisturize my skin enough, but it really does. My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth after use. You get an incredible amount of product for the money since the jar is large and the cream is extremely economical. After four weeks of use, it doesn't look like I've taken anything out of the jar. It feels like it will last forever. I have only tested the product for four weeks, so I don't know if it prevents signs of aging, but it really feels like it keeps its promise to increase skin elasticity. It is definitely a product I can recommend. Wonderful scent
I first bought this for my mom who loves rose scent in soap. I often have a bit of trouble with that scent as it can feel a bit synthetic and heavy. Usage
Is the idea that this should be used as a serum under my regular moisturizer or together with the All in one cream of the same brand? The cream shouldn't be used around the eyes. New favorite serum
I love this serum! Great bottle with a dropper. Lasts a long time since it only takes 2-3 drops. No noticeable scent. Can sting a little after peeling, but not in an uncomfortable way. My skin is 50 years old with fine lines, and this provides plenty of moisture and feels light on the skin. Big plus for being able to use it around the eyes. Nourishing and Effective Hair Mask
I have as #lykoinflutester received this hair mask from Redken to test for a month. I actually think a month is a bit too short to evaluate bonding products since they shouldn't be used with every wash, and I've also alternated with the conditioner from the same brand. My hair is typically Scandinavian. Thin fine hair strands that easily become flat and look dirty while also being dry and needing lots of moisture. The product is looser in consistency than what hair masks usually are, and you can be tempted to take too much. However, that's not necessary as it is very effective. The first time I used the product, my hair became way too heavy even though I washed it twice with the accompanying shampoo. On other occasions, I started with a detox shampoo before washing it with the shampoo from the same series and then continued with the hair mask. Then it turned out super good. The scent is wonderfully fruity, and even though I am quite sensitive to scents, I would have liked a stronger fragrance. After washing, it is easy to brush through and feels thick and rehydrated. It also looks significantly healthier. Big plus for only needing to sit for five minutes. Lovely conditioner
I received this conditioner from Redken as #lykoinflutester to test for a month. Honestly, I think a month is a bit too short to evaluate a bonding conditioner since it shouldn't be used with every wash, and I've also alternated with the mask from the same brand. My hair is typically Scandinavian. Thin fine hair strands that easily become flat and look dirty while also being dry and needing lots of moisture. The conditioner is thick and creamy. In the shower, it can feel like it doesn't do much, but when you finally come out of the shower, the hair is very smooth and easy to comb. Be quite sparing with the conditioner as the hair can otherwise become a bit too heavy. The scent is wonderfully fruity, and even though I am quite sensitive to scents, I would have liked a stronger fragrance. After washing, it is, as mentioned, easy to comb, and it feels thick and hydrated. Lovely shampoo!
I got this shampoo from Redken as #lykoinflutester. I didn’t win the grand prize in the hair giveaway of the lottery. My hair is typically Scandinavian. Thin fine hair strands and at the same time it easily gets flat and looks dirty, it is dry and needs lots of moisture. It feels like I’ve spent my whole life trying to find the perfect shampoo and I actually believe I’ve never bought the same hair shampoo twice. However, I am ready to do that with this shampoo. Even though the water where I live is very hard and chalky, this lathered thick and rich already at the first wash. I always wash my hair twice to make sure it gets really clean. The scent is wonderfully fruity and even though I am quite sensitive to scents, I would have liked a stronger fragrance. Already in the shower, I feel that the quality of my hair changes and it feels much thicker. After washing, it’s easy to brush, feels thick, moisturized, and looks healthier. My hair ends usually feel very dry and worn out this week before a haircut, but now I’m almost considering postponing it for a few weeks because my hair looks so healthy. I’ve seen that many others experience their hair getting greasy quickly, but I don’t. An ok shower gel
This shower gel has a good pump bottle which I like as you get just the right amount of gel out. The gel itself is clear which surprised me. I would have preferred a creamier gel as it is now, it’s not very moisturizing but a bit too drying for me. The scent is totally ok but I would have liked it to smell more like coconut.
