0.1% retinol, not 1%
Hey! I was about to buy this serum as it is marketed as being 1% retinol which would have made it very affordable, but in the ingredient list it says 0.1% retinol… So here it says on another page; “an anti-aging serum that effectively minimizes lines and wrinkles with its effective Retinol EX 1% complex, which contains 0.1% retinol, 0.3% retinyl palmitate, and 0.6% bakuchiol.”1 product in post 0.1% retinol, not 1%56 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 6 daysHey Emily😊 I absolutely understand the confusion here🙈 The serum is marketed with "Retinol EX 1%", but that means the entire retinol complex (a combination of ingredients) makes up 1% of the formula – not that it contains 1% pure retinol. In fact, the retinol content is 0.1%, and the rest consists of retinyl palmitate (0.3%) and bakuchiol (0.6%). It’s common for brands to use such complexes to offer effectiveness with milder ingredients. So 0.1% pure retinol is the actual concentration in the serum that you mentioned. Hope this can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday💫
