Burns and stings
I have dyed my hair at home for many years and used most of the well-known brands. This brand is unknown to me, but I have received good tbm, so I wanted to try it. Nr 5-11. I have some pimples on my forehead at the hairline. The brand stings there immediately, but I let it sit. While I mixed the mix in the back of my head, it started to get really hot on my scalp. So much that I jumped in the shower and rinsed it out after just 5 minutes. Surprisingly, it had taken some color after such a short time. I would never have dared to let it sit for 30 minutes, and I would have been afraid of burning my hair. Never buying again!Translated from norwegian

When you have irritation or open breakouts on the scalp, like pimples at the hairline, you may unfortunately experience stinging or a burning sensation when using hair dye – even if you have tolerated similar products well in the past. The coloring process involves chemical ingredients that can enhance the skin's reaction if the barrier is already compromised. It's still great that you rinsed out right away – and extra nice to hear that your hair actually took some color in such a short time! We always recommend doing an allergy test 48 hours before use, especially with sensitive skin or previous reactions. Please let us know at customerservice@lyko.com if you need help finding a milder alternative 💌 Wishing you a lovely day ahead!
