Glad I tested in store. Smelled really good at first, then it developed into smelling like old mothballs and gave me intense headache after a spray in store on my wrist. Perfumes can really behave very differently depending on skin and how they develop over time. It's a really good tip you give about letting the scent sit for a while before deciding – precisely because top, heart, and base notes can change quite a bit.
