I have been dyeing my hair red since I was 9, so I have tried a lot of different things, but I have NEVER experienced a hair dye that bleeds so much as this one. It has been 2 WEEKS and the hair color is still making my nails pink🙃 Such a shame because the red color is really pretty and vibrant, but it's not worth it when it creates so much mess for a long time afterward. If you're going to dye it red and want to use LIVE hair colors, use the other red shades like red passion or real red instead. I've never had the same problem with those.
Even though it was a while ago that it was written, I can say that I have also dyed my hair red x number of times and used LIVE. About 10 years ago, I dyed it red, it turned out really well, it never bled or looked like a bloodbath in the shower. I used color treatment back then and every time I chose to dye red. Same brand for both color and treatment every time. When I think back, I don't know if I used the same shade of red for the hair dye, but I am 99% sure it is the same Red from LIVE. The other times, especially the last time, the color didn't want to stay - every time I showered, the water turned red, it got stuck in the towel. I was disappointed because the first time it turned out really well with LIVE. All the tips you wrote in your comment I have also done every time, but the results were not the same, I was shocked.. I started to wonder if they had done something new with the color or if my hair didn't want to keep the color for some reason? 🙈
