Hard to work with but good
It often ends up being too much or too little product. If it’s too little, it’s hard to work it in and build layers. If you put on too much, it settles in the pores and it feels like you have a greasy cream on your face for a while. The little spoon in the lid easily falls out and disappears. But... if you get it right... SO good it becomes. I have a very oily T-zone and dry skin otherwise. Red, acne-prone skin. This is by far the best I’ve found so far. The reason it doesn’t get more than three stars is because of the price, the strange smell, and the difficulty in getting it just right.1 product in post Hard to work with but good130 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
Creamy
Bought it in the color merlot and thought it would be a bit more brown but it is very red. I almost look like I've cried if I use this on the lower lash line. I've only tried it 2 times, but it was pigmented and creamy. I think it will be hard to sharpen so the tip gets sharper. Maybe if it had been in the fridge first. Would have loved to try another color.1 product in post Creamy868 views - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Unexpectedly good
I've only used it for a little over a week. But how good it is. I bought Blonde, but it's too dark and unfortunately leans too much towards red, but it's just wet enough, lasts all day, and once you learn that you have to be very light-handed, you can achieve fantastic brows. I'm very satisfied, even though the color is wrong.1 product in post Unexpectedly good871 views - The post was made 8 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Incredibly good but the jar?
The powder itself is a gift from above. 45 years old with incredibly oily skin in the t-zone. Gave up many years ago trying to find a powder that could tone down the shine. Stumbled upon this by pure chance when I was looking for something else. Way too expensive to "dare to take a chance" since experience says that everyone promises well but delivers junk. Bought the small jar anyway and am completely sold. It tones down so incredibly well, I have it together with Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummie blurring balm and that is just as fantastic! But the jar for the powder? What were they thinking there? For so much money, they should be able to afford a twistable/sealable inner lid so that not all the powder sits in the lid when you pull it out of the makeup bag. I bought an empty jar from Tikei that I use for this powder. But don't be discouraged, the powder is incredibly good, despite the jar. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the price and the jar.1 product in post Incredibly good but the jar?1718 views - The post was made 8 months
Layer upon layer?
I bought this here, "universal", to use as a primer, I didn't dare to buy a tinted one. I've used it a few times with a few days in between, my skin is very lightly covered :) I think the skin looks more matte and blurred with this underneath. I don't think it runs and creases as much as with other products. (I've switched to only using mineral makeup in powder form, but my skin often looks dead and the coverage isn't the best) Now to the questions: do you use universal as a primer and then a tinted one as "foundation" or can you just use a tinted one and it gives the effect of having primer underneath? I don't know if it's understandable what I mean? How buildable is it? It smells very unpleasant when applied, this disappears as soon as it sinks in, but should it smell? Can you use a brush to apply, I feel it feels uneven to pat in with fingers?1 product in post Layer upon layer?2453 views- The comment was made 8 monthsMy experience is that you can use it under foundation as a primer (I only use primer in the T-zone) to mattify, you can also mix it with other liquid foundation, and you can use it over foundation that is a bit too shiny. I like to use makeup brushes for foundation, but I specifically use my fingers when I use it as a primer. For the colored one, I only use a brush, not my fingers. Good luck 👍1 likes
