Hi! Can this be used with EpiDuo on sensitive and irritated skin with Beplain's cica calming gel? Thanks!!Translated from norwegian
1 product in post EpiDuo1085 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHi Lisa 👋 You can absolutely use this product while using Epiduo, but it’s incredibly important to be careful and listen to your skin! 🤞 Recommended use: -Morning and night: Use the niacinamide serum in the morning and Epiduo at night to minimize the risk of interaction and irritation. -Sandwich method: Apply a layer of moisturizer before and after Epiduo to protect the skin. This can help reduce dryness and irritation. -Start gradually: Begin by using Epiduo a couple of times a week and increase the frequency as your skin adjusts. The same goes for the niacinamide serum. ‼️Important: Sun protection: Epiduo can make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily ☀️ -Avoid other active ingredients: Avoid combining these products with other active ingredients like retinol or exfoliating acids. Wishing you a nice day ahead 🥰

Unsure
Hi! I am looking for a moisturizing cream that strengthens the skin barrier, consisting of ceramides (preferably also hyaluronic acid and niacinamide). I have a few requirements for a good moisturizer, namely that it should be: Alcohol-free EU allergen-free Fragrance-free Safe against fungi and acne Paraben-free Reef-safe Silicone-free Sulfate-free This cream meets all the requirements, but I am afraid it won't provide enough moisture for my weak, sensitive, and irritated skin. Therefore, I have a couple of questions regarding this product: Will this provide enough moisture and strengthen the skin barrier well enough for a weakened skin barrier as a result of Epiduo? And can these two be used together? Does this contain exfoliating substances that are a disadvantage for someone using Epiduo? Do you have any other recommendations for my skin? Descriptions of my skin in detail: combination, very sensitive skin, a few dry (flaky) areas now and then as a result of EpiDuo, very "dull", several red spots after acne, acne-prone (moderate acne), a few small white "bumps" here and there, appearance-wise "lifeless" (no glow), very large pores or so-called "sebaceous filaments" on the T-zone (especially the nose). For now, I am using CeraVe's "moisturizing cream" which provides enough moisture for my skin, but it stings a bit and is according to "SkinSort" not free from silicone and sulfate, in addition to not being safe to use for acne-prone skin. Thanks! <3Translated from norwegian
1 product in post Unsure359 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHi Lisa 👋 It’s challenging to find a moisturizer that meets all your specific requirements, especially when it comes to the combination of ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide, while also being safe for fungal acne and free from potentially irritating ingredients 🤞 Recommendation: You might consider using a base moisturizer that meets most of your requirements and supplementing it with a serum that contains the missing ingredients. For example: Serum: That contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides Moisturizer: Oat In Calming Gel- Purito Tips for serums lyko.com/no/cosrx/cosrx--the-niacinamide-15-serum-20-ml lyko.com/no/cosrx/cosrx-hydrium-triple-hyaluronic-moisture-ampoule-40-ml?fromsearch=cosrx+triple Wishing you a nice day ahead 🥰

Hi! I am looking for a light cream for the evening that can be applied in combination with EpiDuo. Previously, I tried a similar product, only for dry skin. This gave me shiny skin, which possibly suggests that it was too oily for my skin. Therefore, I am now looking for a less greasy cream, preferably gel-based and not oil-based, that will suit my very sensitive acne-prone skin that is dry and irritated (from EpiDuo) but at the same time tends to get oily. I want to avoid perfume and alcohol and want something that resembles this cream. Is this cream the right choice for me, or do you have any other recommendations for my sensitive acne-prone skin? Thanks in advance! <3Translated from norwegian
1 product in post Unsure340 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 monthsHeihei 👋 When undergoing treatment with medications for acne, the skin barrier is weakened and can therefore feel more sensitive and dry. During treatment, it is wise to stick to products that do not contain fragrances/alcohols, and that are suitable for acne-prone sensitive skin 💪 This product contains fragrance and includes ingredients that are not necessarily recommended for acne-prone skin. Since we do not carry the ACO brand, I would recommend you to take a look at one of these moisturizers lyko.com/no/purito/purito-oat-in-calming-gel-cream-100-ml lyko.com/no/hudpleie/ansikte/dagkrem/cosrx-hydrium-green-tea-aqua-soothing-gel-cream-50ml lyko.com/no/dr.-ceuracle/dr.-ceuracle-cica-regen-95-soothing-gel-110ml Wishing you a nice day ahead 💓

Oil Cleanser
Hi! It says that the product can be used as a makeup remover. Does this mean that it can be used as a kind of oil cleanser if you then follow up with a water-based cleanser, or will it not wash off the skin well enough? I have sensitive and combination skin and irritated skin as a result of using EpiDuo, and my skin is acne-prone. I don't feel like my skin is being cleaned well enough with micellar water and a gentle water-based cleanser, but I think it sounds scary to try an oil cleanser since I've heard several experiences about crisis breakouts from oil cleansers on acne-prone skin. Could this be a good alternative? I want something that cleanses the pores well deep down.Translated from norwegian
1 product in post Oil Cleanser1296 views- 2 monthsHmmm... I do use waterproof and moderate makeup, so that might be a problem.. Would it work if I used a thinner oil? I really want to try oil cleansing, but I actually want to use jojoba oil since I haven't reacted to it before as a moisturizer over my face cream, so I don't really know what to do. Is it enough with two rounds of Garnier's makeup remover to then switch to Decubal's facial cleanser? I really want to treat my "sebaceous filaments" and cleanse the pores deeply, but I don't know if an oil cleanser would be the right option.
