Oil-based cleansing before this?
I wash my face with jojoba oil in the evenings. Can I use this serum after that or would it be wrong and I wouldn’t be able to absorb the serum? What’s good to keep in mind is that the skin should preferably be free of oil residues before applying retinol, otherwise it can be harder for the serum to be properly absorbed. If you feel there’s a film left after cleansing, you can, for example, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or wipe off with a damp towel so that the skin feels clean but not tight.
