Destroyed my skin barrier
10% niacinamide is too much. I learned that you don’t need more than 2% for it to have an effect. 5% can be okay, but for beginners, it’s wise to start with something less potent like 2%. I’ve been using cicaplast for a year now to restore my skin barrier, and I must say it has worked really well so far. If you want to use niacinamide with 2%, I recommend Purito phantenol moisturizer or I’m from Rice toner, both of which contain 2% niacinamide 😄 Just remember to check if you might be using multiple products that contain the same active ingredient. Then you would be using a higher percentage than you would.1 product in post Destroyed my skin barrier428 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHey Lise 💫 Thank you so much for your thorough and helpful feedback! You are absolutely right – 10% niacinamide can be too much for many, especially beginners, and 2% is often enough to get a good effect on the skin. Great that you share specific alternatives like Purito Panthenol Cream and I’m From Rice Toner, it makes it easier for others to find a milder product. So nice to hear that Cicaplast has worked so well for you over time – such experiences are worth their weight in gold to share! 💛 Have a lovely day ahead💌
