Moisture Boost Deluxe
A fantastic product that cares for the hair! I have Scandinavian hair but many hair strands. After bleaching out elumen pink-violet (you know, you know) to become a brunette and then spending the summer outdoors in the sun, my hair has become quite dry. I can't use this every shower or in conjunction with a mask because it gets too greasy. But 1-2 times a month or if the hair gets too dry/static, then it becomes a round of K-pak, and it works wonders! The result lasts through several washes. π Scent - A warm discreet oriental scent towards the sweet side. π«° Consistency - Feels creamy, rich, and a small amount goes a long way. Huge disappointment
I had the hope that this would be precise eyeliner 2.0. Precise eyeliner is Make Up Store's former product and the best I've ever used. I have basically used eyeliner daily from ages 15-25, since then a bit less often but still often, I am a makeup artist and have tested countless brands like Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, etc. So many nice and good brands, but nothing has been able to beat the old one from Make Up Store. There was panic when it was taken away, and since then I have wandered aimlessly in the makeup aisles looking for something decent. Then I see this and am filled with hope. Unfortunately, it was just disappointment. π Brush The brush is made of rubber, it is a bit shorter and blunter than I generally wished. I don't understand why one chooses to make it in something other than "liner brush" as it just disturbs. There is no mobility, so there is no flow. All product on the brush runs out very quickly, so it can't be done one stroke done, it needs to be dipped several times. Since it is not dynamic, the application becomes very uneven and cracks where I have small folds along the lash line, when trying to fill it in, it becomes like trying to fill in something already drawn on a whiteboard, and what has already been drawn gets erased. The color flows off the brush unevenly, so it gets a bit wavy, and you have to smudge with a cotton swab, which disturbs the eyeshadow underneath. π«° Consistency/formula As mentioned, it smudges itself out when trying to fill in. It dries and hardens a bit, which causes it to crack during the day. It is especially visible on the left wing in the picture where I am looking to the side. Otherwise, it stays relatively still but is not as water-resistant as its predecessor. π π Time Due to all of the above, it takes an incredibly long time to achieve an okay result. I was so sure about this that I tested it for the first time before an important event and ended up 20 minutes late in a panic just because the eyeliner was so damn tricky. I have tested it several times with the same outcome, and it doesn't work to have it like this. π The picture πΈ I will upload a picture, but take a close look. This is a moment after application, and you can see if you zoom in how jagged it is, how it has already started to crack, etc. You can also see on my face how the frustration hasn't really let go yet (I realize now) and notice that this might be after 30-40 minutes where I have fought my way to a result. There will be more cracks throughout the day. π Wrapping up So in summary, I am so disappointed with this downgrade, and my initially very positive view of MUS has received a thorn. 90's party
I was invited to a themed party, and I took the opportunity to finally live out the dream of being a grunge-girl! πββοΈMost of what I use is Make Up Store, but I can't add the products. For the base, I use HD powder shell, microshadow masai for contour and burgundy as blush. πThe eyeshadow is microshadow smog on the eyelid. Delicious, fresh, and nice!
After a summer with a bit less sun than usual, I can still confidently say that this is a good sunscreen. I have very fair skin and burn easily, but with this one, I've managed to avoid getting burned. However, there have been some pigment spots - but that is due to many older sun damages from my younger years. π The skin looks fresh and gets a glow from it. However, it stings a lot when it runs into the eye, which I think this one tends to do more than other creams I've used before. π€ The consistency is gel-like and very runny (warning at first use, it runs out). Otherwise, it is light and feels barely on the skin. π An anonymous mild scent that disappears very quickly. Absolutely nothing that would bother someone like me who is usually easily irritated by scents. π³ Moisturizes very well, has kept the skin nice throughout the summer. πββοΈ Maybe not the best if you're going to swim all day. It runs off in the water, it complements well with the sun stick offered in the same brand. The sun stick is greasier and holds up better in water. π I feel like I needed to reapply a bit more frequently than with other brands. However, it is a generous tube at a good price, so no bigger problem to deal with as long as I have access to wash my hands. Protection for UVA?
Hey! So excited for this! But I have to ask, is there also protection against uva? Even though it doesn't say PA++++ on the packaging (which is the usual Korean labeling for UVA protection), it provides broad spectrum protection (UVA + UVB). Take care! β¨1 likes

Really not my thing
I've tested this about 10 times now and the same result every time. π€ It crumbles something terribly much which ends up in the eyes - the eyes then either become dry or they start to water to get rid of the crumbs, which gives a raccoon effect. π¦ Not at all water-resistant. π I get neither the length nor volume I want despite building it up for a loooong time. However, it ends up being very thick and ugly at the tips of the lashes. π It takes soooo long to get it to give any length at all. πΈ A lot of money to spend on a bad result.
