I just dyed my hair with Schwartzkopf Natural & Easy Color Code 580 velvet brown.
I have been getting more and more gray over the years, so I dye my hair because I don’t mentally feel old enough to have gray hair.
I use different colors; a year ago it was purple, but I always use Schwartzkopf because after several decades of experience, I know it’s a product I can trust. Great coverage, and the color lasts, and when I choose my natural hair color, people can’t tell my hair is dyed unless I’ve gone too long without coloring it. Making video reviews is a first for me, so it got a bit messy, and I ended up with a lot of small clips and no editing tools to put them together.
So there is only a small clip.
I have two things that are annoying about the contents of the package that could be improved.
1. The new packaging of the gloves is really stupid to open, the thin bag with tape, or back when the gloves were attached to the instructions, was a much better solution.
2. The conditioner package is almost impossible to open when you have wet fingers, and it doesn’t taste good, so opening it with your teeth is an unpleasant experience. And no, I don’t forget to cut it open beforehand. The tube where you snapped off the lid was easier to work with. The amount of conditioner is also very small.
But despite the annoyances, I am very satisfied with the product.
Something I’m really happy about is that even though I get color on my skin because I’m clumsy and forget I have hair dye in, it’s not a problem because it’s relatively easy to remove.
Possibly face scrub, or just water and soap and a little scrubbing with a washcloth usually takes it off, but otherwise makeup remover can take the rest.
I have managed to dye my hair about an hour before I had to leave the house several times because I didn’t have time earlier. And I don’t really wear makeup, so I can’t hide spots with that.
But unless there’s a spot I forgot, no one can see that I just dyed my hair.
The review was done on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot was allowed to test the product for free.
