I've been using semi-permanent colors since 2010, and Directions is a recurring brand.
After a few years with turquoise hair, it was time to switch. I bleached until I had almost white hair at the roots but still had some blue pigment in the lengths. I used lilac but a light pink on the lengths for color correction, and it turned out about the same. Super satisfied! For a good result, it's best to apply the color directly from the jar on dry, bleached hair. If you want it lighter, it will wash out over time, and then when you want to freshen up the hair, you can make a mixture with conditioner. But to get a good, covering result on the first dyeing, you shouldn't dilute the color. For the roots, I used two jars.
