I have now used a bottle of this product and don’t really think it has done the job that many others describe. However, I’m wondering if there was something wrong with my product? Now that it’s empty, I see there is still product left at the bottom that is cream-like in consistency. When I sprayed it in my hair, white clumps sometimes appeared.
Did I miss that this should be shaken before use? Or is it supposed to be like this?

It doesn't sound like the product should behave that way; the product should normally provide an even application without white clumps 💙
If there is a thick, creamy mass at the bottom and you have also gotten white clumps in your hair, it may indicate that the contents have separated. Some leave-in sprays can benefit from being shaken lightly before use, but the product should still not leave visible clumps during normal use.
