I have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) after ingrown hairs and because I've been picking at my skin. Is this product effective for lightening the dark spots and evening out the skin tone as quickly as possible?

Hello! 😊
Yes, azelaic acid can help even out skin tone and gradually reduce dark marks after inflammation, but it does not provide quick results as the lightening happens gradually.
Use a small amount in the evening on clean and fully healed skin, preferably do a sensitivity test first, and avoid the product on irritated, inflamed, or sunburned skin 🤍
Do not combine it the same evening with other direct acids or retinoids, use sunscreen daily, and try to avoid picking at new ingrown hairs to reduce the risk of new marks.
Good luck 🤗🩷
