After one coat, the nail polish was transparent and the color somewhat uneven. After two coats, it was still a bit transparent, but perfect for you if you don't want a completely opaque result (pinky and ring finger). After three coats, the color became significantly more opaque.
The picture shows how the color looks on day two, and it felt like the polish had pulled a bit over the nail edges. Despite this, I really like the color. It's a nail polish that can be built up in coverage without feeling thick or clumpy on the nails, which is a big plus.
