Hi! I wonder if this serum can be used in the skincare routine even before bedtime and overnight, or if it is only a product before day cream or as a base in the makeup routine? I was thinking since it is pigmented, if it then transfers? Or does it give a result over time that the skin becomes darker/more pigmented? I am actually very pale and therefore wonder if this product can work in and add more color naturally to the face over time...? Or is it more like a variant of makeup that is used during the day and then washed off? 🌟

Hey Lisa 👋😊 It works well both day and night as part of your skincare routine, as long as you keep in mind that the pigments may reflect / transfer a bit when the skin is directly against the fabric (e.g. pillow). It won't make the skin permanently darker / pigmented over time — the effect is cosmetic, not a “burn” or color change in the skin cells. To minimize the risk of staining: apply moderately, let the product absorb properly, and possibly use a light powder or cream on top to set it. Maybe someone else here has tried this at night and can provide some input on what they thought? 😊👍 Good luck🩷

    Color choice and consistency?

Hi! I'm a bit tempted by this product but I'm torn on which color to choose? I bought the Lumenes CC cream light, which color is similar to this one? I'm also wondering how to apply it best, with a brush or sponge...? But is it also a good product to have underneath to achieve an even result? Many questions😂😂 but it would be exciting to try this product🌟

Hey Lisa! 👋 So fun that you're curious about Hickap The Wonder Base Stick!😍 From Hickap's shades, it looks like 2C Champagne is the best option, as it has a cool/neutral undertone and is closest to Lumene Light in lightness level. To be completely sure that the shade suits you, I recommend trying it in-store, as shades can sometimes differ a bit on screen✨ When it comes to application, you can use a brush for more coverage or a sponge for a more natural finish – many combine both for the best results. For an even base, it's also good to properly moisturize the skin beforehand and preferably apply a light primer to smooth the surface a bit extra💗 Take care! 💗

Hi! Is it suitable for all ages? Even for teenagers? I have very dark circles and find it hard to cover them with just concealer and corrector underneath. Does it help to use this as a base and then apply a corrector and concealer on top? And is there a risk that it will look cakey or uneven?

Hey again Lisa!😊 The Ordinary Caffeine Solution is a lightweight gel with caffeine and antioxidants that primarily works to reduce puffiness and dark circles. Perfect if you want a refreshing effect under makeup! L’Oréal Revitalift Eye Serum contains both caffeine and hyaluronic acid, which provides extra hydration and a more nourishing feel. The cooling applicator also helps to perk up the eye area ✨ If you want the most moisture and long-lasting effect, go for L’Oréal. For a lighter, quick-absorbing feel, The Ordinary is a great choice! My recommendation is not to use both at the same time as it can easily become too heavy under the eye 🩷 Take care!
