I tried the product on lightened hair. The hair was somewhat dry, which may have partly affected the color adherence.
The product packaging was nice. Inside the package was one tube of colorant, coloring gloves, and instructions for use. The color was a bit difficult to apply and not very economical, even though I mixed the color with a generous amount of conditioner before applying it to the hair. The color was in the hair for the maximum processing time. After coloring, the shade was nice, but after just one wash, the color was almost completely gone. The picture shows the hair color after one wash.
I have previously used similar semi-permanent colors that were a bit easier to apply. Also, the color longevity with those products was better. Of course, previous products didn’t last many washes either, since it is a semi-permanent color. However, with this particular product, the fading was much stronger than with other similar products. It could also be that the hair was in worse condition than previous times, which might explain this.
The review was made on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot received the product for free to try.
