    Eye Protection?

Hi! Is there a need for eye protection when using such masks? Especially considering that this one has near-infrared light

  • LED Mask "+ other products on the face"

Hi! I use self-tanner on my face too, does it clash with using facial products like serums and the LED mask? I don't wear makeup as much when I have self-tanner (light skin and I don't sunbathe since I don't get tan. I just burn.) and I feel really good about it, and my face has appreciated being free from all makeup, being a little tanned is a nice alternative. But now I'm tempted by this mask. How should one think about the order of applying different serums, face creams, and self-tanner, etc.? I don't have a specific routine, so I'm open to trying it in conjunction with the mask. I want it to turn out as well as possible. 😅 Also, I love xlash pads with retinol (the purple ones), I use them almost every night. Should I do something differently with them? Many questions, but sooooo curious to try with the right conditions, thanks! 🩷

Hey Sanna 🥰 You can absolutely use self-tanner on your face along with both serum, LED mask, and Xlash retinol pads, but it's important to time everything right for the best effect. The LED mask works best on completely cleansed skin without products underneath, so use it before you apply anything else. You should apply self-tanner preferably in the evenings when you’re not using the LED mask or retinol pads, so the color can develop peacefully without fading. You can continue using Xlash pads 2-3 evenings a week, but avoid using them right after applying self-tanner as they exfoliate the color faster. You can use serum and moisturizer every day, morning and evening, and preferably complement with SPF during the day since you are using retinol. Good luck 💌

    Series 2

Hi! I’ve read that there have occasionally been some issues with some of the masks, but that you definitely get a replacement if this happens, provided you buy from an authorized dealer. Are you authorized? I’m also wondering if it’s possible to reserve the Series 2 mask that’s coming in September? Thanks in advance :-) Best regards, Ingrid

19-Year-Old Boy with Irritated Skin Looking for a Solution

Hi, I struggle with irritated skin, old acne scars, and unevenness and I'm looking for a solution. I'm wondering if this LED mask or any LED mask in general will help with acne scars and to what extent. I'm also curious about what other skincare products I should use for healthier skin on my face. As of now, I'm not using any products, just water, so I don't have much knowledge about what will actually help. It might be worth mentioning that I don't have so much that it can be called severe acne, but enough that it's very visible and bothers me. 19-year-old boy, thanks in advance😄

    led mask

Hi! I've heard that led masks treat various skin problems. Which of the CurrentBody led masks would you recommend for someone who suffers from mild hormonal inflammation (34 years old female) and redness? I've sensitive skin and have never used a led mask before nor had a professional treatment done. I've textural irregularities due to old acne (scars) and I don't suffer that much of pigmentation except if I get new pimples they leave a pigmented mark but eventually fade away. Biggest problem is the inflammation and mild redness. My skin tends to get tight after cleansing even though I only use one cleanser per time (1 x day and 1 x night), I think it's dehydrated chronically. Thanks beforehand! ^_^

Hi! Based on what you describe, it sounds like the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask could be a great fit for you 😊 It works with both red and near infrared light, which helps to reduce inflammation and redness - while strengthening the skin barrier, boosting collagen production and giving the skin a smoother texture 💫 Perfect for you with sensitive skin and old acne scars! Since you haven't tried LED treatment before, it can be nice to know that the mask is clinically tested and gentle, even for reactive skin. An added bonus is that it also helps to deeply moisturize the skin, which is great if you experience tightness or dehydration. Tip: Start with 3-5 minutes a few times a week and gradually increase to give your skin time to adjust. Have the best! ✨

Currentbody skin series 2 led mask erot

Hi, I noticed that you already responded that the series2 led mask will likely come to you in the fall. What differences does Series 2 have compared to this version? I'm wondering if it's worth choosing this one or waiting for the fall?

Hey hey Fatou 😄 So fun that you’re using the LED mask – it’s totally magical for the skin ✨ When it comes to peeling serums: It’s not recommended to use active acids like AHA/BHA or peeling serums right before or during LED treatment. The skin can become extra sensitive, and the combination can be a bit too much 😬 Instead, you can use a hydrating serum, preferably with hyaluronic acid 💧, under the mask – it’s safe and will actually help the skin draw in even more glow and moisture! You can do peeling on another day of the week, or at least a few hours before/after the LED mask 🧖‍♀️

    Usage during summer

Does the skin become extra sun-sensitive when using the LED mask? I wonder if you can continue using it during the summer months when you also want to enjoy the sun :).

Hey! 💡🌞 The LED mask from CurrentBody Skin generally does not make the skin more sun-sensitive, as it uses red and near-infrared light that does not exfoliate the skin or affect the skin's surface in the same way as, for example, acids or retinol. So you can absolutely continue using it during the summer! ✨ Regardless: use SPF 30–50 daily to protect your skin and maintain the results from the LED mask! ☀️🧴 Take care!

    Question

Can you use serum and such while the mask is on, or can the mask also be used on dry skin?

HOW IT WORKS:
As skin ages, cell replication and collagen production slows down and eventually depletes. Environmental factors can speed up this depletion, such as unprotected sun exposure, smoking, and dietary factors. Clinically proven to stimulate cell renewal, and boost circulation and cell oxygenation, Infrared light combats the natural ageing process for younger, fresher skin. The CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Face Mask combines red (633nm) and near-infrared (830nm) light wavelengths to kickstart our skin's collagen production. These restorative benefits penetrate deep under the skin's surface for instant and long-lasting transformative results. It's the 'Hollywood Glow' wavelength!

Use:
Step 1: Conduct a sensitivity test (see additional information in the user manual).
Step 2: Cleanse your skin and pat dry. Apply a few drops of the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum.
Step 3: Attach and adjust the strap around your head.
Step 4: Switch on your device. Sit back and relax for your 10-minute treatment.
Step 5: Remove device from your head and wipe clean.
Step 6: Safely store your device in the protective storage bag.

Expert Tip: Boost your anti-ageing results by using the CurrentBody Skin Hydrogel Face Mask underneath your LED treatment. When paired alongside the Green Tea Serum, this glow-inducing combination nourishes, hydrates and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
