Denman

Started by an innovator more than 80 years ago, the iconic Denman brand remains a leading light in
hairdressing today!
In 1938 during a trip to New York, a young entrepreneur from Northern Ireland John Denman Dean
was introduced to a new revolutionary product, Nylon. He returned home with a cabin full of this
new material and soon after figured a use for it in hairbrushes. By the 1950’s the reputation of this
innovative new brush began to grow. Celebrity hairdressers over the decades may all have had their
own unique style, but they also all had a Denman hairbrush!
Working with influential hairdressers from around the world, Denman developed a vast array of
different tools and brushes that today make up the Denman range. Still family owned and still based
in Bangor Northern Ireland, Denman continues this collaboration with the hair professional and
therefore is one of the world’s most sold hairbrush brands!

  • Very good brush 💖

    D90L Tangle Tamer Ultra Violet

It's probably a myth that you should brush your hair 100 times in the evening for better hair growth and blood circulation, but with this one, I could easily brush my hair 100 times every day 😊 It was part of a Lyko lovable a couple of years ago and immediately became a favorite that I use every day. It has slightly sharper bristles, and I think it's super good when the scalp itches ✨ I have thin and fine hair, and it goes very well through the hair. It missed the star for a full score because I don't think it goes through the hair when it's wet (but then you should also just carefully detangle it 😅), and then I have another brush with slightly sparser bristles.

  • So smooth!

D81M The Style & Shine Medium Black

This makes the hair sooooo smooth, I've been looking at a Mason Pearson for many years but almost 3000kr feels a bit excessive, then I found this one and it works so well! The hair becomes smooth and shiny, but it can get a bit static if you haven't properly moisturized the hair beforehand... bought both a medium to have on the makeup table and a small to have in my bag! I've now thrown away all other brushes!

  • Lagom “scratching”

D38 Power Paddle Brush Pink Crush

I love this brush! So freaking good at detangling tangled hair and is just the right amount of scratching on the scalp. Feels like it increases blood circulation but doesn’t make the scalp bleed! Was worried it would be too sharp but it works perfectly!
