Mild but effective
Here we have a crazy good exfoliation that suits all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin that shouldn't be exfoliated often or use strong acids, but this one is mild yet effective. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 74 g
I got this product to test. I have been using it for a while now and can give my honest opinion on it. Dermalogica's products are new to me, but I have heard a lot of good things about them, so I was looking forward to testing these products. I have combination skin and in the winter it is surface dry. I start by cleansing my face with Dermalogica's Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser and then I still use this Daily Microfoliant scrub. At first, I was unsure if I could use it every day, but I decided to give it a try, and it has worked really well for me. The scrub is gentle, and that's why I dare to use it daily, but only in the evenings. It is also easy to use. You just take a teaspoon of powder on a wet hand and then rub your hands together to get the right consistency. After that, massage it into your face for 1 minute and rinse it off. It leaves the skin wonderfully soft and fresh. One star off because it is expensive. Great product
I have been using this powder for several months and am very satisfied with it. I prefer to use it in the shower after cleansing my skin normally. Then I take the powder directly into a damp hand, gently rub my hands together before applying it to my face. It’s an art to get the right consistency at first, but it becomes completely natural over time. This way, the grains still remain a little present, not completely gone, which is how I like it. You can also massage a bit more in your hands if you don’t want that. You need very little at a time, so you have to pour the product out carefully to avoid wasting it. I apply the scrub for about a minute before rinsing, and then my skin is silky soft. I focus on the T-zone and notice a big effect there when I use it regularly. The skin becomes completely smooth, not tight, dead skin is gone, and you get a nice glow. A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. Since I use other active ingredients in my skincare routine, I stick to 2-3 times a week, and that’s perfect for me. The scrub is very mild and can basically be used daily even by those with sensitive skin. It also works well if you have discoloration from previous pimples on your face, I find that it has a brightening effect after about 1-2 weeks of regular use. If you like Sensai's silk purifying powder, you will also like this one. Mild but a bit tricky
I've been testing this for several weeks now, and as someone who often wears makeup, spends many hours in the city air, and has skin that sometimes feels dry and tight, this has become a nice little ritual in my evening routine. It provides mild exfoliation, soft and glowy skin💅 The product is a powder that you mix with water so it foams up. I have to honestly say that I'm not a super fan of this way of doing it, as it is a bit messy and hard to get a good consistency. It's very easy to use too much water🫣 The instructions said you only needed wet hands, but in my experience, that has been too little. Fine lines there, though! The scrub itself, once you get it mixed together, is good! It's mild and gentle on the skin, yet effective at exfoliating. The smell (and feeling) is very reminiscent of baking powder with water, so it's not super attractive. I use this along with Dermalogica's Magnetic AfterGlow Cleanser, and the two together give clean, lovely, glowy, and soft skin. Funny concept with gentle peeling effect
This is a dry powder that you mix with water to activate. It is a peeling/exfoliation and should be able to be used daily. I don't think it has enough peeling effect, and it's hard to learn what the right amount of water is. I first tried to do this over the sink, but it got quite messy. The best approach ended up being to have it standing in the shower and mix it in my hands inside the shower after using a cleanser (description of my skincare routine is below). Positives: ➕ Cool concept ➕ Seems economical in use ➕ I like that it can be used daily ➕ Easy to take in luggage, weighs little and no risk of spills in bag etc. ➕ Makes skin soft and "more elastic" Negatives: ➖ A bit difficult to calculate the right amount of powder and the right amount of water ➖ I would have preferred larger grains with more peeling effect (even though it is for daily use, I think the peeling effect could be a bit stronger) ➖ I don't find it so easy to rinse off/remove, and sometimes the grains collect around the eyes/nose edges, which is hard to rinse off Overall, you can tell that this is an innovative and cool product, but I don't feel it has a strong enough effect for my skin. For example, I had some dry skin spots/scabs from pimples that started to disappear. Regular peeling would have scrubbed these away, but this one didn't. A perfect gentle exfoliation!
I got to try this magical exfoliation from dermalogica.🥳 I have combination skin that tends to be a bit drier now during the winter months.😊 This is the first time I'm trying an exfoliation in powder form like this. You take about a teaspoon of powder and mix it with a little water, then massage it into your face for 1-2 minutes.😍 It's gentle, so I've been using it daily. This must be the best exfoliation I've ever tried. A decent everyday product
The product is easy to use, you pour the desired amount of powder into your palm, mix with a little water to create a light, creamy paste, and massage it into the skin. The consistency makes it easy to apply, and the exfoliation feels gentle – the skin gets "scrubbed" in a friendly way without feeling harsh or irritating. For me, it requires quite a bit more product than what is stated on the packaging instructions, which brings it down a bit. I also don’t feel that the product delivers everything it promises; the skin doesn’t feel particularly softer, exfoliated, or brightened after use. When it comes to brightening the skin, I know this can require longer use, so I don’t expect it to happen right away. The positive is that the exfoliation is mild and safe to use, and the skin reacts well to the treatment without discomfort. But I’m not getting any "wow effect" so far. Mild and Good Scrub
Incredibly exciting product! I was very eager to try this scrub that comes in powder form and foams up to a scrub by having water in the palms. The consistency becomes quite thin and light, which is super nice and soft on the skin. The product is meant to be used every day, and I absolutely think it is mild enough for that. The skin feels silky soft afterwards, and it doesn't leave a tight feeling like stronger scrubs can do. Exfoliating daily felt strange at first, as I had previously used exfoliators where daily use would have led to really bad results. 😁 I have been using this product for about a month, 3-4 days a week, and my skin hasn't been this radiant in a long time. This product has changed my experience with facial scrubs and helped me realize that my skin often needs a gentler exfoliation more frequently than a stronger scrub less often. A peeling that gets the job done!
As an influencer for Lyko, I have been testing products from Dermalogica for a few weeks now, and this time Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, which is a peeling and cleansing product that removes dead skin cells and cleanses the skin deeply! Super good exfoliation that is gentle on the skin
This exfoliating powder has become a new favorite in my bathroom cabinet! The powder mixes easily with a little water to then massage the face for a minute. The face then feels soft, fresh, and gets a nice glow🥰 I have also let it sit on my face for a few minutes while doing something else, and it works just as well. I find that the pores on my nose and around my nostrils become less visible after I have massaged the area. It’s also a big plus that it can be used daily! I have combination skin, but I haven’t had any problems at all with this.
