An easily accessible product that always gets the job done. Affordable, gives a really nice texture, and it has very good hold for a clay. That said, D:Fi Matte Clay has great hold within its product category, but generally for clay, if you want your hairstyle to stay intact from morning to night – use hairspray after you finish styling with clay. And this applies to this clay as well. Hairspray with clay is no problem, you will keep the texture intact even after you spray. It does change the finish, but you get a hairstyle that lasts all day. The key to a nice hairstyle with clay: 1. Apply very little product in several rounds, take your time! If the clay starts to clump in the hair, it’s hard to spread out later. 2. Apply the product in the hair with fingers shaped like bird claws 🦅 Don’t flatten the hair on top of the head, but you can flatten the sides with your palm, of course. 3. Feel free to use a hairdryer. I personally use a hairdryer before I apply clay, while I apply clay, and after I’ve applied clay! 4. If the hair is hard to flatten on the sides: use a complementary product. E.g. hairspray as mentioned earlier, or a pomade to tame the sides.

The only thing my partner wants to use for their hair. Doesn't get sticky. Not hard when it dries. Good hold.
