Does what it should
A very good bleaching. I have bleached my roots for about 20 years, like since ancient times, and this one reminds me a lot of the old Mood that used to exist. A blue thick paste. This really does what it should and it goes fast. I am very light naturally, but I don't like that raw light you get after a few months. I bleach my roots about 4 times a year and always just the roots. Last time I used Directions Hair Lightening Kit Volume 40 for the first time and I was really satisfied. It is strong, so I wouldn't recommend using it on already bleached hair, only on the roots. I had it in for about 15-20 minutes. Result is light yellow like with all bleaches, but it usually takes longer to get light yellow with other bleaches, so this one was faster because it's stronger. Then I used the best toner ever, if you want to tone down the yellow and just kind of magically get rid of the yellow, and that is Light Iced Blonde 1010. Which strength you should choose depends on how light you want to go and whether your hair is untreated or previously colored. Volume 30 usually lightens hair about 3-4 levels, and Volume 40 about 4-5 levels. If you want a stronger lightening, Volume 40 is a stronger option, while Volume 30 is a gentler choice 🩷 Asian hair often has very deep and warm pigments, so it’s common for the hair to go through warmer stages on the way to a lighter result. How the hair reacts is also affected by previous colorings and treatments. I recommend starting by testing on a small strand first. Super satisfied with the result of the product itself, BUT there is way too little bleaching agent. The person whose hair I bleached has both thin and short hair, and 1 package was absolutely not enough. Hi, Every time I get my roots done at the hairdresser, the front becomes uneven, I get yellow patches that make the hair look blotchy, so I have to correct it myself. Therefore, I need a bleaching powder that can be used with 3% (10 vol) to lift these areas a bit and even out the color. So you choose strength depending on how many steps you want to lighten the hair, not by hair type.
