Black Brown & Burgundy
You get an incredible amount for your money here! 🫶 It doesn’t weigh down, spreads the lashes very nicely, and stays up all day! I see some people write that it crumbles around the eyes during the day, but I haven’t had that problem. I’ve attached a picture showing both colors on the eyes, and I’ve also swatched the mascaras on my hand to show the difference between the colors of these two, the Catrice Hyper Lash mascaras, and a black mascara on the side. Both these from essence and those from catrice have become my favorites, and I think they’re much better than all the other more expensive brands I’ve used before! To keep the lashes up and not weighed down, I always start by applying a thin layer on each eye. Then I work back and forth until I’m happy with the volume and length. Unfortunately not this time
So I had a fail with this product. I’m quite disappointed because unfortunately, more things irritated me than impressed me here. First of all, the color. It was supposed to be burgundy, but on my lashes, it definitely leans more towards an unattractive red. My boyfriend asked if I had been crying when I put it on. And honestly? There’s something to that, because this shade highlights tiredness instead of beautifully emphasizing the eyes. Unfortunately, my lashes just disappear in this color, and I definitely can’t complain about their length. And the brush… here’s another problem. It’s such a flop, I haven’t encountered anything like it in a long time. It clumps the lashes terribly and it’s practically impossible to separate them afterward. I try to save the situation with another brush, but then of course I remove the mascara from the lashes, so the lengthening and thickening effect disappears. And instead of a quick makeup, it turns into a whole rescue operation. The shape of the eyelashes disappears
Nice color but very dissatisfied with the purchase of this mascara 😕 I got it yesterday and tested it both yesterday and today, and the result is the same. It removes exactly all the shape that the eyelash curler created as soon as I apply the product. It also crumbles quite a bit. + it is not waterproof and can be removed. And yes, it is cheap but not 50 kr in my opinion. Then I would rather have bought a more expensive mascara. Which one is best?
So I need a new mascara. I thought these were pretty good since they have good reviews and are quite cheap. There are like five colors/types. Which one is recommended? Pale Burgundy
Burgundy is my absolute favorite color, and of course I also like that color on mascara. Lash Princess is a rather pale burgundy; it leans more towards brown than wine red on me. I wish it had more wine red pigments so the color would be stronger. Despite that, I think it looks nice. The lashes also get quite well separated and get a certain lift. However, it holds the lashes up very poorly during the day; they lose their shape and lift already after a few hours. But for a non-waterproof mascara, it still stays quite well without flaking. Unless you go out in the rain or happen to get tears in your eyes, then you can't rely on it. The brush is a bit big and clumpy; it works well for the upper lashes but is hard to reach all the small lashes on the lower ones. A positive thing is that it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all, and of course the price, which is unbeatable for a mascara. Despite the price, I will not repurchase it when I have used it up. I'd rather spend a bit more money and buy the Sky High mascara in burgundy instead; it is incredibly nice. #lykorewiev #essence1043 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator.
