Acticlear was not part of the recommendation, but I supplemented the routine with this as I really like the other products. Acticlear has truly worked wonders for my skin; the pores are smaller, the skin is clearer and more balanced; no more shiny forehead in the afternoons. Acticlear is a lightweight gel serum/cream with antibacterial properties, featuring azelaic acid, which soothes the skin, inhibits inflammation, and restores a weakened skin barrier. It combats redness, uneven pigmentation (including that caused by impurities and inflammation), oily and sebaceous skin. An excellent serum/cream for periods when your skin experiences outbreaks and is out of balance. It provides a gentle peeling effect while moisturizing and softening the skin.
Use:
Can be used morning and evening, but it's recommended to start with once a day, preferably in the evening. Apply a thin layer to affected areas or the entire face. Works well over Oil Control Serum, Face Formula, or Balancing Hydration Cream. May cause dryness initially. Feel free to use Face Formula if irritation occurs at the beginning of treatment. For optimal results, use Acticlear at night and Face Formula during the day. Combine with sunscreen, Nova Cream SPF 30+ or Nova Drops SPF 50+, as the skin may become sensitive to the sun.
