Neutralize Yellow/Red Tones
Used the toner in the color frozen sand first, but thought it became a bit too yellow-red in tone. After using the color mask in the color graphite, the yellow tones disappeared and the hair got a cool brown natural shade! Awesome!1 product in post Neutralize Yellow/Red Tones201 views - The post was made 3 weeks

Covering Gray Hair
Hi! I have some gray = white strands in my dark brown hair that I now highlight blonde so that the regrowth doesn't show as much. I'm trying to achieve an ash blonde shade and have therefore stopped dyeing the regrowth blonde because it gives a better cooler tone on pure highlights in my naturally dark hair. But I would need something that makes the white in the regrowth more yellow to match the rest of the hair until it's time to highlight again. I'm looking for a toner without hydrogen peroxide (I've gotten very sensitive, dry, and frizzy hair in menopause) that still lasts for a number of washes. It should be easy to apply only in the parting and along the temples. I think this product looks like it fits my needs but I'm unsure about the color choice. Help! 😄 Pia1 product in post Covering Gray Hair922 views- The comment was made 2 monthsHi and thanks. 🙏🏼 A clarification: The hair strands I want to "dye" with a hydrogen peroxide-free toner are completely white. The dark next to it will not be affected. So it’s simply a shade to shift naturally white hair to look blonde - so more yellow/beige. Or maybe even light brown. This to tie my white regrowth with the highlights that come further out. All to extend the time between highlight bleachings without having completely white "highlights" at the roots. In other words, I believe a hair dye test does neither good nor bad. Hope I’ve been clear now. ☺️ Pia

Four reasons
Hi. I have dyed my hair with take away color. Last time the color was mushroom. I would now like to go lighter, but the color is holding well, except for a lot of the gray. Is it possible to use Color Mask Toning Treatment for example Vanilla, I would rather not dye to make the hair darker to get a different tone on the gray? I also don't want the hair to lean towards red or any other unwanted color, so I'm unsure how this might affect the colored hair. Recommendations are appreciated.1 product in post Four reasons2903 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHey Bodil 💌 Four Reasons Color Mask Toning Treatment, like Vanilla or Latte, are toners that won’t lighten the hair but can help adjust the shade of the hair you already have – for example, neutralizing unwanted warmth or giving a cooler veil. Since you’ve used Take Away Color in the color Mushroom, which is quite dark and cool, and now you want to go lighter, a toning alone unfortunately won’t be enough to lighten the hair. 💡 To go lighter, you might want to consider a decolorization or bleaching – especially if you want to remove the dark color pigment first. This is a process we recommend doing in consultation with a hairdresser, so that the condition of the hair can be assessed and the safest and most gentle method for you can be determined 🌿 Wishing you a nice day ahead!

Help me, what color should I choose???
Hey hey! I dyed my underhair pink (see picture), it was supposed to be light pink but turned out too light the first time so the second attempt ended up darker than planned. I'm looking for something that is also good for my wavy hair and can preserve a light pink color? I don't know what I'm looking for anymore1963 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Toning
Looking for a color mask or intensive toner in light copper that works on naturally, uncolored, light hair. What do you recommend?1 product in post Toning1745 views- The user's roll: Hairdresser at Lyko. The comment was made 4 monthsHi Evelina! 👋🏼 A color pack usually doesn't stick to natural hair, so you need to choose an intensive tint! To know which tint suits your hair, I need a bit more information, that's why our hair color test is made for you! You can find the test here in our app 📲 lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan All the best 🌞

Works well (but pick your shade wisely!)
I see there are some mixed reviews where people are dissatisfied. The results you are going to get depend entirely on your starting level and the shade you chose. Four Reasons have a color chart online where you can see which shades they recommend for each level (level 1 is back, level 10 is white). For example if your hair is level 7-8 (medium blonde), Vanilla or Light Lavender will not work (as they need a level 9-10 base to show up). I have tried a whole bunch of these, but used many of them up. I added pictures of Cool Sand, Vanilla, Latte and Pearl. Since there is no chemical reaction involved, these masks will perform on your hair the way they do on a white piece of paper. "What you see is what you get". All in all these are really good toners, with a much more pleasant smell than Wella or Schwarzkopf color masks. Four Reasons also feels much more moisturizing and "slippery", and it doesn't leave the hair feeling coarse and stiff. #lykoreview1 product in post Works well (but pick your shade wisely!)4285 views - The post was made 6 monthsRating: 3 out of 5
Works partially on uncolored hair
I used the tone Champagne in my dark hair that has both warm and cool tones to highlight the golden tones. It says that this doesn't work on uncolored hair, but I feel like I got warmer, more golden tones in my uncolored, untreated Scandinavian dark hair. However, no extreme change. I will try to leave it in longer next time (only had 10 minutes this time) and see if there is a bigger difference then. Will report back after next time!1 product in post Works partially on uncolored hair2528 views
