    Awesome Toning

I refresh my hair color with this toning about every 6 weeks and think it's awesome! Marmalade is an incredibly beautiful auburn color on me that over time gets lighter and becomes a naturally "red" color. I always apply first at the roots and then in the lengths and have never had a problem getting it even. Really super good!

A bit too yellow and other colors.

Ordered Carro cake. I would have preferred a redder variant. Even though I received many compliments for the tone, it felt pretty awful to wear this color. For the copper colors, it came through strangely, turned yellow and a bit green. Looked dirty and didn't do me justice at all. Avoid this product on bleached hair at all costs, even if the base color should be fine before toning, it can go completely wrong!

Hey Cecilia, thank you for taking the time to review! 🤗 So typical that you weren't quite satisfied with the result, it was a bit hard to see in the picture, but the color in the bangs/parting looks really nice 😍 If you would like some tips and advice, I can warmly recommend you to do the hair test: lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/hartestet You will then get help from our hairdressing experts 🙌

    Caffé machiato

Looks much lighter on the website, bought to get a cooler shade on my brown hair with some blonde highlights in it. The whole hair turned dark brown and still has a warm tone, unfortunately not at all what I expected :( hope they disappear from the hair quickly.

    Color Removal

How long does this last? I dyed my blonde hair with tosted honey over 1 month ago. The color is still looking great. But it turned out too dark and I would have preferred marmalade instead. Can I dye over it or should I do a color removal first?

Hey Sabine 😊👋 A toner lasts about 4-8 weeks 🤍 How long it lasts depends a bit on hair quality, how often you wash your hair, and what products you use 😊 Since your current shade still looks nice but is perceived as too dark, it might be difficult to achieve a lighter result just by coloring over. Color cannot lighten already colored hair 🤍 An alternative is to wash with a clarifying shampoo a few times and see if the shade lightens a bit before you decide on bleaching! This shampoo is amazing: lyko.com/sv/malibu-c/malibu-c-un-do-gooshampoo-266ml Take care and good luck!

    Did nothing

I wanted to dye my roots with a little gray hair strands in the roots and light brown/dark blonde in the lengths. I had the dye in dry hair as it said first in the roots and then in the lengths. Let the color sit for maybe 30-45min and there was no difference at all. Not even the roots got any color. I tested the same product when I had blonde hair and felt the same then too but wanted to give it a new chance... No more

    Satisfied

Did like another girl here and mixed portabello with frozen sand and was satisfied with the result. Unfortunately, I have no before picture as I wasn't prepared to be so satisfied that I would review here 😅

Hi Hildegunn☺️ This product is not a permanent hair color. It is an intensive toner, which means it washes out gradually over several washes. Toning sits mostly on the surface of the hair strand and fades little by little, usually after 4–6 weeks, depending on hair quality and how often you wash your hair🥰

Should the hair be freshly washed?

Should the hair be freshly washed? Or should you just wet it? How many days before should you wash the hair then? 😊

Hey Maja 👋😊 Apply the toner evenly from root to tip on towel-dried hair and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly 🤍 If you have a lot of product buildup in your hair, I recommend washing it out first 🚿 All the best!

    Root Growth Coloring

I have previously dyed my whole hair, but now I need to dye just the root growth. Does this work for that, and do you have any tips? ✨

Hi Anni! Thanks for your question ✨ The product can be used without issues for root coloring 👌🏼 Apply carefully at the roots – preferably with a brush. Then use a wide-tooth comb and comb towards the ends, so the color spreads softly into the lengths. Let it sit according to the included instructions, massage the color in, and rinse. Then wash your hair as usual 🫧

    Lysner?

Hi! Can this color also lighten natural hair? I'm afraid it will make the roots golden. Best, Malin

Yes, I was more afraid it would lighten. I don't want anything that lightens, so I'll try it. Regards

    A sure thing

Gave me a nice natural beige/cool sand color. I use it now and then. Super pretty!

    Hair Color

Hey! How long does a bottle last? I have medium-length hair and it's not super thick.

Hey Matilda! 👋 Oh, very hard to say. It depends so much on the thickness and length of the hair, so very hard to say when I don't know exactly how it looks🩷 I would absolutely recommend you to secure two bottles so that you have in case it’s needed. If not, then you have a little extra for any coloring of the roots ✨🥰 Hope you like it!
