    Awesome Toning

I refresh my hair color with this toning about every 6 weeks and think it's awesome! Marmalade is an incredibly beautiful auburn color on me that over time gets lighter and becomes a naturally "red" color. I always apply first at the roots and then in the lengths and have never had a problem getting it even. Really super good!

    Portobello 7.0

I went to the hairdresser a few weeks ago because I wanted to go back to my natural color a bit more and not have such a noticeable regrowth. The very blonde part is how it was originally. When I sit by the sea, that’s how it turned out at the hairdresser. It was nice, but not how I had imagined it. I felt she was a bit too cautious. So I thought - oh well, why not? I’ve tried Portobello once before and was happy. The fact that there was only 1 week left until my wedding was maybe the only reason I hesitated this time! But I ended up incredibly satisfied. It still feels like it got a nice natural color and didn’t become too intense. I’m happy and feel like this is more how I thought it would turn out at the hairdresser! We’ll see how it looks after a few washes. But I recommend this hair color. However, I think it’s good to have a warm undertone before coloring with this so it doesn’t turn green. The smell was so-so – someone said cigarette butt, and I agree! But with such good results, I don’t think it matters that much! 4/5

    Best at-home hair color

The best hair color I've tried, a nice cool brown that does NOT turn black. Also looks nice as it gradually washes out, and doesn't get a red tone like other colors. Sometimes mix with 4.1 for a more intense result.

    Perfect

As long as you read the description and understand that this is a tint that doesn’t lighten, doesn’t work miracles, washes out over time, etc., it’s a super product! You can also complain about the smell, but it’s only thirty minutes of your life, you can stand smelling like a cigarette butt for that time. I’m super happy with the result and will definitely buy again – precisely because it washes out over time, so you can try a different shade next time if you want to mix it up a bit now and then.

    Affordable color that lasts

This is my go-to, I color my hair ginger/copper. It turns out such a nice color and a color that lasts. However, the hair needs to be refreshed with a color treatment now and then, which isn’t unusual with “uncommon” colors. Affordable!

    Beyond expectations✨

My yellow hair and green tones disappeared! Cleaned my hair with K18 detox shampoo to remove metals and self-tanner that had settled in the lengths (caused the green). Then mixed Takeaway color Vanilla sky and Pearly pastel 50/50. I applied the mixture to the bleached lengths first and then went directly to the roots. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Before and after picture💫 Had prepped my hair well with moisture beforehand, so a bit greasy in the before picture😅

    No color

I had blonde hair before, the product was recommended to me by an employee at Lyko Vestby. Very dissatisfied for a small reason and a big reason. Small reason: No conditioner was included, even though the instructions say to use the conditioner at the end. The main problem and the reason I am super dissatisfied is that the product did not color at all. No hint of color, even after following the instructions to the letter. Left with a box that will most likely end up in the trash, as I only used one and not two.

    Pretty okay!

On the lightest parts, it takes quickly, towards the blue-gray side. The very yellowest was hard for it to hold onto. The hair gets quite damaged, so not as gentle as it claims. Also experienced that it washes out quickly despite color-protecting products. So, so-so. :)

    Caffe macchiato 5.1

Very satisfied! Was afraid it might be too dark, but it turned out perfect. If it had taken a bit more at the roots and the gray, it would have been 5 points. On the other hand, I knew it only covered 70%, and my intention was also not to completely hide the gray. Love that the color is cruelty free!
