I went to the hairdresser a few weeks ago because I wanted to go back to my natural color a bit more and not have such a noticeable regrowth. The very blonde part is how it was originally. When I sit by the sea, that’s how it turned out at the hairdresser.
It was nice, but not how I had imagined it. I felt she was a bit too cautious.
So I thought - oh well, why not? I’ve tried Portobello once before and was happy. The fact that there was only 1 week left until my wedding was maybe the only reason I hesitated this time!
But I ended up incredibly satisfied. It still feels like it got a nice natural color and didn’t become too intense.
I’m happy and feel like this is more how I thought it would turn out at the hairdresser! We’ll see how it looks after a few washes.
But I recommend this hair color. However, I think it’s good to have a warm undertone before coloring with this so it doesn’t turn green.
The smell was so-so – someone said cigarette butt, and I agree! But with such good results, I don’t think it matters that much!
