If there’s any perfume that gets you compliments, it’s this one. Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino is like stepping straight into an Italian dream, minus the sunburn and mosquito bites. It’s like someone pressed the entire Italian Riviera into a bottle along with a fresh breeze, lapping sea, and a garden that hasn’t seen a drought in a hundred years. It opens with a citrus explosion that makes you feel like a freshly showered Italian mafioso on the Amalfi Coast. Then the flowers sneak in, a bit like a flirty Italian saying “Ciao bella” as they pass by, and the finish gives you that warm “I’m-eating-gelato-at-sunset-feeling.”93 views
