    Brush Material

Are the bristles of the brush really made of natural material? The brush that was delivered to me has sharp long and short plastic spikes.

Hi Laura, Thank you for your message! We completely understand your confusion 💛 According to the product description, the ghd The Dresser Oval Brush is made from beech wood and wild boar bristles. However, this model typically has mixed bristles – meaning it includes both natural bristles (wild boar) and longer synthetic nylon pins 💕 So the longer and slightly sharper-feeling pins are plastic, and their purpose is to help detangle hair more effectively and reach better down to the scalp. The shorter, denser bristles are made from natural bristles, which help smooth the hair and add shine. So the brush is not entirely made of natural bristles, but a combination – sorry if this wasn’t clearly stated in the product description. Hope this clarifies things! 🥰

    Really good!

I absolutely love this brush! It gets down to the roots so the whole hair gets brushed through! I get totally divine hair after I brush out my curls with it, it's so nice to brush with and easy to keep clean! The hair can get a little static but that's only sometimes. Definitely worth a purchase :)! Got Rapunzel hair

    Are the longer bristles sharp?

Are the longer bristles sharp? I have bought similar brushes for hair extensions, and those long bristles on them are so sharp that I scratch my scalp. I am on the hunt for one that is gentle on the scalp but still detangles deeply since I have hair extensions...

Hey! It's hard to say exactly how the bristles on the ghd The Dresser Oval Brush feel without trying it yourself since everyone experiences differently, but generally, ghd's brushes are known for their quality and are gentle on the scalp. The longer bristles on this brush are designed to detangle hair deeply and distribute the hair's natural oils, but they shouldn't be sharp or uncomfortable! Take care!✨

    Wet hair?

Can you brush wet hair with this or is it too "sharp"?

Hey Anna This brush is primarily designed to be used on dry hair to create shine and detangle hair without damaging it It can be a bit too harsh on wet hair, which can lead to hair being pulled or damaged, especially since hair is more sensitive when it's wet. I would recommend checking out a brush from Wet Brush lyko.com/sv/wetbrush/wetbrush-original-detangler-black Take care!
