I do like the iron, but it unfortunately leaves a sad mark (imprint) in my hair. In this price range, I think it should be 5/5, not that you have to put in a lot of effort to get a smooth result. #lykoreview

Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up, I've had it since November 2022 and already in summer 2024 it started beeping and shutting off by itself, then I managed to get it going again after it happened very sporadically. But now it has completely given up, it just beeped and stopped. I've had straighteners from significantly cheaper brands that have lasted for several years without any problems! Unfortunately, my warranty has expired now, so I will have to buy a new straightener. Apparently, this is a common problem with platinum+. So annoying since I've heard so many good things about Ghd! I've heard in hindsight that Original is supposed to be better. Otherwise, it was good when it worked.
