Worth the money! 💖
✨ First impression Simple and sleek design, maybe a bit boring. I tried this heat protectant a couple of years ago and didn't like the scent at all, but now it has really made a great upgrade 👌🏻 🧡 About my hair and my preferences I have dry, thick, and curly hair that easily gets frizzy. I have a dry, sensitive scalp that can get itchy eczema when using too strong products. I always use heat protection! 🏵️ My thoughts and experiences I like the spray function, I find it easy to distribute it evenly in my hair. I also notice that it absorbs well and quickly. I actually think it smells really good now, very fresh and a bit luxurious 👌🏻 Very good quality, worked excellently in both wet and dry hair! As #lykoinflutester I got to try this heat protectant from #ghd and now you’re going to read my review! 🤗 I had high expectations for this since #ghd generally has high-quality products, but unfortunately, I don’t think the heat protectant lives up to the mark. It’s a handy and nice bottle with a good spray nozzle that makes it apply evenly over the hair, but you really need to know where you have the product, because if you accidentally take more layers, I find it becomes very stiff in those spots, like patches. And when I curl my hair with a flat iron, it feels like a “chop” in those areas, which I haven’t experienced with other heat protectants. The scent is magical, you should know that! 🤤 And that’s positive, but for this price, it’s still not worth it since I use heat protectants that are significantly cheaper. Made my hair greasy
My hair often got a bit greasy when I used my straightener after applying this spray. I bought a heat protectant from this brand maybe a few years ago, and back then I thought it was amazing, but now it seems like they've changed the formula, which didn't make it any better. For blow-drying and curling?
If I use this before blow-drying, do I need to apply again if I want to curl my hair right after? It can also be good if you want really good protection before a curling session 🙌 Spray from root to tip on towel-dried hair, comb through, and blow-dry. If you want extra long-lasting curls, you can do a light "top-up" mist over the lengths before curling. Take care!
