Description
Ingredients

Take Away Color is an ammonia-free and unscented at-home intensive tint that gives your hair a beautiful color, shine, and glow. It covers gray hair up to 70%, achieving a natural look gently.

First, wash your hair and give it a light towel-dry. Open the cap of the activator lotion bottle and pour the hair color tube's contents into the bottle. Seal the bottle and give it a good shake to mix everything well. Immediately open the applicator cap after mixing.

Evenly spread the tint from root to tip on towel-dried hair and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly and follow up with a color-preserving shampoo.

    At-Home Toning/Cutting

It wasn't easy to distribute evenly in a short time, so it took a good while just to get the actual toning in. I let it sit for about 30 minutes, so total it was probably around 1 hour. I had no idea what to expect, but I was super pleased! I wanted a cooler brown shade that was on the chocolatey side, and it feels like it turned out exactly that way!

    Frozen sand

Hey! I usually use Frozen sand in my lengths and am satisfied, but I wonder what difference it makes to mix it with portabello?

    Mix for the right shade

Hi! I tried Teddy Bear and it was perfect in lightness but I thought it was too warm in tone (trying to find something that matches my own hair color, like cool dark cendré). Can I mix caffe macchiato (5.1) and frozen sand (8.23) so it doesn't get too dark, but still keep a cool tone? Thanks in advance

    Packaging

Hey! I read that someone mixed frozen sand and portobello. But what packaging can be used to preserve the color?

    Hot roots

I was thinking of bleaching highlights in my uncolored hair. Then I bought pearly pastels that I was thinking of applying to tone it a bit ashier. My question now is, will it affect the hair that I haven't highlighted and possibly give hot roots? I didn't see that the toner contains a bit of hydrogen peroxide. Maybe it will be difficult to apply it only where I will also highlight, or is that the best option?

Hey Michelle If you use the toner all over your hair, it can lift your uncolored hair a bit and make the tone lighter and warmer I would recommend you do our hair color test to get tailored tips and advice directly from our team of trained hairdressers and color experts lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/harfargstestet Good luck!

Go a little dark blonde with ashy tones?

Hey! What color could I put on this color? I am actually ash-blonde and would prefer to have my hair color as close as possible.

    Too dark

Mixed with blonde, still turned out much darker than the color on the package. Bummer! Naturally have medium blonde hair.

Hey Elin! Thank you for writing a review of the product ❤️ There are a few different reasons why a hair color can turn out darker than in the picture, and it can be due to the starting color and underlying pigments: A medium blonde hair often has both light and dark pigments, which can affect the result. If there are warm, red, or golden tones in your medium blonde hair, they can influence the final result and give a darker or deeper tone. Another factor that can affect it is if the hair is porous, as it can absorb more pigment, which can lead to the color being darker or more intense than expected. The processing time and that some shades can be a bit more saturated. I hope you have another tried-and-true hair color that you can fall back on that gives you the result you desire 💖

    Did nothing

I was really disappointed with the product. I bought color 10.01 hoping my pale hair would get a more even and lighter shade, but there was no difference from how it was before. Super boring.

Hi Cathrine! Yes, absolutely! This is a toning/mini color - so this will color your hair. However, the result depends on what your starting point is, so if your hair is darker than the color you want, it might not change much. Hope this helps you🤗 Have a really great weekend!
