    Awesome detox shampoo

Fantastic product that I have used for many years, it absolutely does its job and both the hair and scalp feel clean afterwards. However, I experienced that you have to be careful not to use it too often as it dries out and you can easily get irritated, but you should use a good shampoo and conditioner with a lot of moisture afterwards. I used Kevin Murphy's moisture line which makes the hair magical. However, I have stopped using detox shampoo and now use hair scrub (Bodyshop's ginger) which is magical!

    A must

Everyone needs a detox shampoo and this one is perfect for that! If you use products in your hair daily, it's great to use once a week to get rid of residues. If you have blonde hair, it feels lighter after a wash.

    Perfect

A special scent to get used to, but once you do, this detox is wonderful. However, you shouldn't use it too often.

    Completely normal shampoo

Did nothing for me. Like a regular shampoo. Smells good, hard to use because of the design of the bottle. It's too expensive for the use, you have to use relatively a lot.

Hi 🌸 Thank you so much for sharing your honest feedback! We completely understand that it can be disappointing when a product doesn't quite meet expectations, especially regarding price and usability. A little tip for better results is to massage the shampoo well into the scalp and let it sit for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. This gives the ingredients time to break down product residue and impurities. If you have a lot of product buildup or a very oily scalp, you can repeat this process. Many also find that the results are best when used as a “deep cleanse” once a week, before a more nourishing shampoo or treatment. 💙 Please let us know if you would like tips on other detox or cleansing shampoos that might suit your hair better.

Hey Maja! 👋🏼 Absolutely, you can use Maxi Wash even if you haven't dyed your hair. It's a deep-cleansing shampoo that removes product buildup and excess oil while refreshing the scalp 💆🏼‍♀️ For best results, it's recommended to use it a maximum of once a week and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner so that your hair doesn't get dry 🥰 Have a nice day ☀️

Is this series color preserving? Does it contain sulfates, silicones, parabens?

Okay Jenny. So can I ask you, which of Bobby's beige or white series should I use if I have fine hair strands but very many and thick hair, but get easily oily scalp and oily lengths? And which of Bobby's and Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me should I use, would you say?

    Good product

Does its job. The hair became incredibly rough afterwards unfortunately, but it really cleaned deeply.

    Drying

The product felt like it was drying out my hair. After rinsing the shampoo, my hair felt dry and rough.

    Colored hair

Will it remove hair color from newly colored hair?

Hey Iren 👋 Yes, Kevin Murphy Maxi Wash Detox Shampoo can in some cases affect the color in newly dyed hair 🎨💧 It is formulated as a deep cleansing detox shampoo, made to remove product residues, excess oil, and impurities – and it contains ingredients like fruit acids and cleansing botanical extracts that provide a deep cleanse of the scalp and hair. 🔍 What does that mean for newly dyed hair? It can pull out excess color from the hair, especially right after dyeing when the pigments haven't had time to set completely. Works best as a pre-shampoo before you dye, or between dyeing – not right after. 💡 Tip: Feel free to wait 5–7 days after dyeing before using Maxi Wash. Use it a maximum of once a week, and combine with color-preserving products to protect the shade. Wishing you a nice day 🌞

    Works well

I recently tried this shampoo and was pleasantly surprised. It cleans well and is quite economical in use. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. [hashtag]
